I just don’t have time right now. Lots to check of my list today at the office. Totes looking forward to getting home to my new bed and sitting at my new desk and writing stories and drawing in my sketch book. I’m so excited for Florida next week, five whole days of vacation. This kinda reminds me of Dad. Posted it on Tumblr earlier today. My dad is so cool, he’s got tattoos and muscles. He used to be jacked when I was young and he also had a huge beard. Been a while since I saw Daddio. DAD IF YOU READ THIS I MISS YOUR FACE OK! I just saw someone tweet about trampoline. Did you know my Dad was a Tramp Coach? Yeah, trampoline. I tweeted a bunch today and also formspringed. Did you know YOU CAN ASK ME ANYTHING? Go, amuse me please. I’ve answered 427 so far, and counting. My sista, Jenie is coming ova tonight too. Hellz yeah. Wonderful day. Well, except the fact that today I’m the stinky kid so I have to keep my arms down and sweater on. Fahk, happens to us all once in a while. I’m off to Peach Berserk to reveal the WINNER in the dress design contest for school kids. They just rung me to say the place is full of girls waiting to know. View PostI put a gray tint in my hair yesterday. The little piece I had before washed out really fast and I wanted it back. Went to Shoppers and picked up Roux Fanci-Full Silver Lining Mousse. This stuff is great – easy + fun to use. I use the blonde one when I need to get my hair done but don’t an appt scheduled. All you do is put the mousse in your hair once towel dried, blow-dry and VOILA. It tints your hair then washes right OUT when you shampoo! My hair’s back to bright bleach blonde today. Lots of work to do today. Tonight I’m heading over to Peach Berserk to Judge the entries for their Spring/Prom Dress Design contest. Lookin’ forward to it. Yesterday I changed the URL’s on my photo blog + tech blog to subdomains of casiestewart.com. You can find them at posterous.casiestewart.com and tumblr.casiestewart.com. View PostYesterday’s magazine party at MTV was great. Both my bosses were happy (phew!) and I got positive comments from so many people. via Twitter & email. Helps to get positive feedback cause, lemme tell you, I was so nervous and excited about the whole thing. It was really wonderful to see all these awesome people/bloggers in a room together. The dresses from Peach Berserk were a hit. I’ll get to posting more about it tonight but at the moment very busy! In the mean time you can check out these great post about it! View PostI love this photo. I’m not sure the artist but I wish it was me. I’m polishing off the guestlist fro our FORA sneak peek tomorrow. I’m stoked. Kelly tweeted back to me @mtvcanada saying she’s might wear all pink instead of black. She always wears black. Exciting. I dreamed of fashion, magazines, and my job last night. It was great. Woke up early, put on The City and made a plan to go buy Kelly’s book “If You Have to Cry, Go Outside: And Other Things Your Mother Never Told You”. I remember I had a ‘hard ass’ boss once. It was my first job out of university, I had always wanted to work in Toronto fashion. My boss, she was fierce. Everyone knew not to piss her off. She was strict and opinionated. I leaned a lot from her. Mostly I learned the hard way, by doing things wrong and having her yell at me. That was often preceded by me wiping tears in the bathroom and going back to my desk. It was that job that motivated me to work hard to get out of it. Now that I don’t work for her anymore, I’ve grown to love her. I thought that working in fashion would make me so happy but really, you can always be fashionable you should do a job you love. Ok work time. Gonna start the book after I get it tonight, looking forward to sharing it. Longer days today too, yahooo! Watch this vid, it’s lovely. I wanna wear all the dresses in the store. So excited, Gang of Bloggers coming and media too. Phone light keeps going off and driving me nuts, message waiting. Wore a cute outfit today. Been dressing more fun and fashiony (than a cold day) now the weather has warmed. I’m judging a dress design contest for Peach Berserk coming up (scroll down) and a music contest thingy tonight (they said it’s Idol like?) . Need more time in the day. View PostFeeling the spring fever. It’s lovely walking to work in the brightness. Great way to start the day. Ramping up stuff for the magazine at work. Toronto Blog Girl stuff is picking up speed. My Harajuku Girls are coming by Friday learn about blogging. What they don’t know yet is that I’m putting them to WORK. Fairy Blog Mother. Today I am wearing a dress from Shop My Clothes that’s by a Japanese designer. I love the print heaps, very springy. It was really long so I chopped it and used the excess fabric to make a circle scarf. Black Betsy Johnson tights from Winners. Gold boots were black leather from Vintage 69. I spray painted them gold. Andy Warhol used to do that. Trench, cardigan, & heart locket are from H&M. Bag was a gift Calvin Klein. THANKS! I’m a judge in this FAB contest from Peach Beserk. It’s only open to elementary, high school and college/university students but the prizes are AWESOME. So if you can enter, DO IT. Clothes make the man. View PostThe day begins to come to an end and I find my mind wandering, wondering. I listen to CBC Classical online. I feel relaxed and look forward to riding home and the breeze in my hair. I’m picking up my Edie Sedgwick dress from Peach Beserk this evening. Made to order and tailored to fit. I always liked Andy Warhol, as long as I can remember. I was walking through this outdoor mallway over the weekend, I think it’s beautiful.Listening to this music I feel inspired to write, to read more Ogden Nash and to create things that never existed before. My coffee is warm and so is the air around me. It’s comforting and leaves me feeling safe. My shoulders are bare and the light is barely coming through the clouds. I really love the movie Closer, there is something so real about the relationships between the characters and their melancholy love tales. Natalie, Clive, Jude and Julia, good kids. I feel it in my legs, the biking from yesterday. Tomorrow there is a Billabong sample sale at 67 Mowat Avenue. Two weeks ago I wished they would have one so I could get a new bathing suit for my birthday, then I got an email a couple days later. Thank you universe, you listen to my thoughts and you bring me closer.
