The other day at lunch, I went to the park. I got my first summer street meat and sat in the grass. It was warm and sunny and it felt like heaven. I laid down in the grass and looked up at the sky and dreamed of far away places. It was the first day of wearing bare legs too. I love summer. I love summer. I love summer. Did I tell you I loved summer and park hangs? Cause I do.

i can see clearly now the rain is gone
Woke up to these guys yesterday cleanin’ the windows. I was out of the shower and in my Betsy J. robe, unlike last year when I was buck ass naked and they scared the crap outta me. I imagine they see heaps of nudes, maybe even a show or two. haha. Didn’t realize how nasty our windows were. They had heaps of little bugs and rain marks on them and now, now it’s just beautiful.
I’m not feelin’ so hot today, throat is hurting and I’m tired. I’ve worked two extra night’s this week and it’s really tuckered me out. I couldn’t imagine taking on an extra job, my blogs + work take up more than enough of my time. Tonight is set aside for ME TIME, the shy little introvert inside me wants to shut everything off, crawl into bed and pull the covers over my head…. okok, who we kidding, I’ll be in bed with my computer 🙂

after spending hours on twitter and tumblr
I feel like my blog here, my daily diary is missing my attention. I like to update is early in the day and the last couple weeks I’ve been so busy. See, the thing is, tumblr is so immediate and all about pictures and frequent updates and twitter is instant and short and wordpress takes longer for me to publish. It’s amazing how the world of blogging has changed since I started. My blog began on myspace with poetry in 2005, blogger in 2006 as casiestewart.blogspot.com, 2007 with a redirected and URL as casiestewart.com. In May 2009 I moved to fully hosted on wordpress. Moving to wordpress allowed me to have more control over the layout and design as well as widgets and plugins I wanted to add.
Since I’ve been using posterous and tumblr, I feel like they’re all extensions of this blog, they’re all part of my life on the internet. Posterous is tech related things and nerdy stuff, updated almost daily. Tumblr is pretty girls and inspiring things from around the web updated daily. Twitter is everything in between! Oh god, I love the internet.

Been sleeping like a log since I got my new bed last weekend. It’s amazing what a difference it makes! Looking forward to the weekend, she’s a long one and I’ve got nothing planned. Might head East to the beaches to see Jenie for some sun lazing. I want to do nothing, I want to have no plans and just take each day as it comes.
I’m definitely gonna pop down to the urban beach (big sand box by the lake) with my sketchbook. I’d like to sew a new bikini too. Need something really jazzy for Florida next week! Check out my mustache necklace (posted last night on tumblr) that my penpal Hillzy sent me for bday. I love her and gawd I’ve never even met her yet!!
Rockin’ Mum’s old hot rod tshirt. This one if from 1981, BEFORE I WAS BORN. I love wearing her old stuff. I’m so happy she kept so much of it. One of the reason i refuse to get rid of all my stuff is I KNOW that one day I’ll have a house big enough to manage my closet. Until then, it’s a bit of a tight squeeze!
My typing has been very dyslexic lately. Frustrating when posting stuff for work, lemme tell ya. That’s all for now. Enjoy the day. It’s beauty out there! xo
