Big day today!
<3 CASIE
Sometimes a dream looks like a meatpie, but it’s more than that.
There’s something to be said about following your dreams…
I’ve always been a dreamer, always been a little ‘out there’. Someone with big ideas who looked at the world like I could go anywhere, achieve anything. To the moon Alice! The moon isn’t as far away as it used to be and it’s easier to get there if you know how.
Today I had a dream. A small dream to some, but to me it was one I had been dreaming about for a long time. It was important to me. The small dream is part of a bigger dream. It’s all the small dreams along the way that helped the big dream come true. My dream was to have an English meat pie. It was part of the bigger dream of going to England that I have had since I was a teenager.
That’s the thing, you have to dream a little dream, and set goals, and work at them every singe day. Your thoughts become things and the more positive thoughts you throw at those things, the more real the dream becomes.
Then, one day you’re sitting on a king size bed, draped in a white fluffy, hotel robe, in your deluxe suite at Le Meridian Picadilly in London, England, FINALLY eating that god damn English meat pie you have SO been dreaming about. It’s that very moment you smile and think, I can do this. I can do anything.
This dream may look like a meatpie but it’s more than that!
Hard work and believing in yourself can make dreams come true.
I feel incredibly blessed to be to this trip. Tomorrow is an exciting day full of press things, shopping and an event at the tallest building in the EU that isn’t even open to the public (for two months!). Massive thank you to Thomas Sabo and the ladies of Faulhaber Communications for having me as a Canadian ambassador and inviting me to be part of this adventure.
This is my life 🙂
So, what big dream are YOU eating?

Why do I not make more videos? Doh.
Tia Maria Room in Montreal on Thursday. Wanna come?
Helloooooooo from London, England! This week is a busy one as I arrived here early today and will be in Montreal come Thursday afternoon then, back at the office Friday afternoon, and on stage in the Santa Baby holiday burlesque show Friday night. Yikes! I live for this though. I love being on the road, I find it really enhances my creativity and inspires me. I’m excited for all the things I learn and people I meet on each trip. I met two dudes while boarding the plane who get their biz cards printed through my office! Cray.
I’d like to invite any of YOU to meet up with me in Montreal on Thursday for the Tia Maria Room. If you can make it please Tweet, test, comment, email, or do something to let me know so I can add you to the list!
There will be lushious cocktails, sensual tunes, a performance by Jarvis Church, and of course, me! I’ll be working and tweeting for Tia Maria and would love to see you there. LMK!
Time for a wee nap then I’m going to take in the city!

Rockstars don’t call themselves a rockstars, but in this case Marketing did.
This article originally appeared in the Nov. 30 issue of Marketing as part of “Being Influential”.
Casie Stewart has been many things. She’s worked as a consultant, brand ambassador, spokesperson, copywriter and community manager. Until this autumn, she juggled freelance work as each along with sponsorship deals with brands like Canadian Club, LG and Cadbury seeking mentions on her life blog and social streams.
Then in September she made the jump into the agency world, accepting a position as director of social media at Community, a small Toronto-based agency that works on campaigns for clients like LiveNation, Heineken and Bacardi.
Stewart says she’ll maintain her social presence (which includes 14,000+ followers on Twitter) despite her new nine-to-five and is participating in upcoming influencer programs by Ted Baker London and Telus. At Community, Stewart is using her personal network of influencers and experience as a blogger to inform client work.
As a sought-after influencer, Stewart’s participated in dozens of social campaigns. These are four of the best. READ HERE.
Meet Albert. He’s tall, dark, and Made in Canada.
He’s a Knottycase for my iPhone, he came from California, and was made in Canada. He’s part of the Save the Redwoods League at savetheredwoods.org. He was born beside a rocky stream, in the mountains near California, as long as 500 years ago. Albert was a big strong redwood but unfortunately he had a bad winter fall.
Luckily he was salvaged and has now found love, with me.
When you purchase a Knottycase you are helping to plant trees and make the world a better place. My wooden iPhone case is the Oak on Black and available for $79. Each case is one-of-a-kind, different grain lines give each it’s own look depending on the part of the tree the wood came from.
I love it. Nice gift for the holidays. Go digital, save trees. 🙂
Going to the UK for Thomas Sabo Spring Summer 2013
Tomorrow after work I am going to London, England.

Staying atLe Méridien Piccadilly
Partying at The Shard: Tallest Building in the European Union (Open February 2013)
Will be visiting the shard as one of the first to experiece the exclusive ‘View From The Shard’ with a champagne reception and party on the 69th floor in the viewing gallery. I’ll be joining press from around the world to preview the 2013 Thomas Sabo and meeting the new Brand Ambassadors.
The Shard is on London Bridge Street and I could not be more excited. This trip is all my fav things, travel, press, social, and media. Not to metion how charming English accents are!
I’ve talked about going to London for years now and it’s HAPPENING! I’ll be documenting it all on Instagram and right here.
Dan Witchalls Base Jump from The Shard:
This is awesome. I can see myself getting into base jumping at some point.
If you had one day ONLY to yourself in London, what would you do?
I’m kinda in love with you Brandy Melville.
Welcome to my new fav Queen West hot lil’ spot. Look at all those signs! Need the Queen West one for the office. The shop is right in the heart of my neighbourhood at Queen/Spadina and completely filled with everything I enjoy wearing. This is the FIRST Brandy Melville store in Toronto (from LA).
These are the things I got; skull scarf, girl tank, aztek change purse, John Galt flower print backpack. I am in LOVE LOVE with new backpack. I actually stalked it online for days, almost ordering, and today I GOT IT.
That’s US, the big smoke! The Brandy shop is online at @brandymelvilleC and instagram at @brandymelvillecanada. I posted a few photos to each platform. I feel a shop and drop addiction coming on…drop all plans, shop for everything.
Asked them about doing a holiday giveaway, so will keep you posted on that! If you stop by LMK in the comments what you get. I kinda want the whole store. Santa, can you hear MEEEEEEE!
Dear Santa, I want an Octaspring Bed. <3 Casie
Last night on my way home from work I stopped by the Canadian launch of Dormeo Octospring beds at 477 Richmond. I’m not usually one to blog about beds and stuff but they were giving out massages, warm food, hot drinks, and it was en route to mi casa. I have NEVER had a pretend sleep in a bed that so comfortable. Lucky for me my lounging was all captured by the brands photographer. I tried Bacardi rum and hot apple cider for the first time and met the PR team. How did I not TRY THAT BEFORE?! So good.
I’m a stickler for technology and these beds are made with innovative, plush Octospring memory foam. They have JUST launched in Canada and are available at Sleep Factory. I have never purchased a new bed for myself as an adult, and this is exactly what I would LOVE to have. They are so incredibly comfortable (said that twice because I mean it), I recommend you follow in my footsteps and take a nap at a store near you. I hope my home insurance covers this kind of furniture, my friend told me that websites similar to simplyinsurance.com (visit site) can provide some more insight into home insurance quotes with information on what is and isn’t covered in their policies. If my current provider doesn’t make the cut I might have to switch. I want this amazing bed to be totally covered so I can sleep soundly on it.
Some photos from the event below. If they are giving away a bed in the near future, I will let you know! Follow them on Twitter at @OctaspringHQ.
Thank you Octaspring for my giftbag, feelin’ the love! Santa, please add this to my list. 🙂

Goodby Dailybooth, I loved you for years.
Today Twitter announced they’ll be allowing us (users) to download our ENTIRE TWEET HISTORY before the New Year. For me, that’s almost 100,000 tweets! I’ve been publishing the Internet for almost a decade and it’s hard to imagine all the things I’ve posted. This month, Dailybooth, the OG photo sharing service that helped kick off this thing we call ‘social media’ announced they are shutting down. If you have photos on DB you can DL them until Dec. 31, 2012. After that, they’ll be gone.
Dailybooth was THE original photo sharing service when Twitter came out. I posted a photo of myself nearly every single day from January 2009-January 2012. The photo updated to the top right corner of my blog showing a new face each day. I hardly had any tattoos back then, nobody had a million followers, and ‘social media’ wasn’t a ‘thing’…yet.
It was the experience I loved most about DB. Logging in and seeing familiar faces, comments, making friends. I hung out w/ Zolloc (Hayden), my friend from Dailybooth for the first time IRL about a month ago. We’d known each other for years. He was visiting Toronto for Nuit Blanche so I showed him around my fav hood, Queen West and Trinity Bellwoods. The community at Dailybooth was always so positive.
This news made me sad.
Why do I feel so romantic about a photo sharing service?
I took all 756 photos, added music and made a massive vid with them all. The video is coming soon. It’s five minutes of Casie, five whole minutes. Observations? I make a lot of different faces, I wear a lot of hats (actual hats), I travel, I don’t get sick often, I smile most days, I like to have fun. It brought back so many memories. I forgot heaps of people, places, things, and thoughts. It was nice to be reminded.
It’s sad to see Dailybooth go but I understand why, I’ve hardly used it myself since I got Instagram. A sign of the times I guess…just like 12secondsTV. RIP.
Were you on Dailybooth? LMK 🙂
