i am made of light i am made of stars

A couple years ago Mum gave me the a book called “The Four Agreements” by Don Migue l Ruiz.

It makes me feel less anxiety when I carry it around. It’s one of those you keep in your purse and when someone says something or does something to make you feel not as awesome as you should, I reach for it and read it over a couple times. I refuse to lend it out because I’d hate to not get it back. That always happens with book lending. The Four Agreements are great when you want to be inspired or motivated to keep a positive attitude. My favorite line is in the beginning and it’s the title of this post.anxiety day

Don't even get me started about The Four Agreements. Either Ismael by Daniel Quinn or The Four Agreements was the first book I read that got me started on the road that led to my rebirth.

Here's a whole conversation we could have one day: Do you ever feel like the knowledge about The Truth that you get from those kind of books is a burden you could do without? I have studied so much of that kind of material that those concepts influence everything about the choices I make, the way I think, etc. and sometimes I wonder how different and maybe even easier things would be if I had no knowledge of it and just liked to watch reality shows.

It's is an amazing book. When I read stuff like that I feel so connected to myself and it also makes me realize so many people waste time focusing on things that don't matter and worrying about things they can not control. I don't waste time on that crap…or reality shows for the most part.

This one book is clear and fun, but I had to get away from The Secret and Esther Hicks because that shit would keep making me panicky about every little thing that popped into my head.

Agreed. I pick it up every once in a while, read a few pages, think about it and move on. I get anxiety if I think about it TOO deeply. #deepthoughts

Favorites of the genre: Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. What the Bleep Do We Know, which is a movie not a book. The New Testament.
