This is my life now. I wake up and roll over to greet my love, Andy. I reckon it’s only a matter of time before I switch teams, no not like that, I mean to a mac and and iphone. I feel it’s the natural progression of my technology life. One day I’ll say “PC, i’m just not that into you, anymore”. It’s brrrrr outside today and I don’t mind a bit. The sun is shining SO bright in my condo I have to put the blinds down just to see the monitors and tv. (First world problems!) Couple reasons I don’t really care if it gets cold are LA, Dallas, SF, and San Juan. I know, it’s sad when you read it if you are not going away but you know what? I have worked my booty off since I started college in 2001 and never have I ever had this much travel planned and I’ve also never been to most the places I’m going. I am beyond excited. AAAAAAAAAAAH! Luckily, while I’m home I’ll be keeping warm cause Matchstick sent me a couple pairs of Cougar Boots last month. It’s not really been cold enough to take ’em for a walk yet but I reckon the Santa parade this weekend is the perfect event to bust out these babies. The second pair I got were red & rubber and I gave them to fellow blonde blogging babe Keri! Check her post out. Blondetourage blogtourage! If anyone finds a pair of these old school Cougar Boots in a size 5.5 or 6 please pick them up for me. You know my love of vintage and I’d totes like to rock the old schoolies. I have a new boyfriend, his name is Andy.

He is an ipad. We are in love. Remember I said I really want an ipad? Well, I painted, scratched, and WON. I could feel I was gonna win, something inside me just knew. Power of positive thought I tell ya. We spent the night together and I took him to dinner last night too. I named him Andy because I won him at the Amex Canvas event yesterday and it was artsy. We’re gonna be makin’ art together and gettin’ creative and I kinda have Edie hair anyways. I downloaded heaps of apps: Globe & Mail, Angry Birds, ibooks, CityTV Video, Google Earth, Draw Free, Page Capture, Bubble, Twitter, Tweetdeck, Mashable, Facebook, GT Racing (fun), We Doodle (fun) and my fav game Cut the Rope. Thanks Amex. You are awesome! I’m really frustrated at the moment with a couple things. It’s one of those days. I need to get outside and soak up some sun. Maybe andy and I will go down by the lake on my bike. This is my photo, I am very deep & emotional. Andy Warhol drew the knives, I drew the blood and showed emotion. Someone on Twitter just said I am cute when I’m mad, why do boys always say that? I AM NOT CUTE. I AM ANGRY. I am really excited for December to come, I will be travelling and that makes me happy. she looks old and rusty but she’s a real beaut

yesterday i biked to the meetings i had. it was sunny and warm and i didn’t even have to wear a jacket! it’s the end of october, that is fascinating… well, because it makes me think about global warming and how it used to be cold by now but on the other hand it is totally freaking awesome. today i am telling you about my stuff… bike: raymi the minx, vintage > i need to fix the alignment. wanna help? jeans: shop girl gallery boutique, yoga jeans > these guys are so comfy. remember when i NEVER wore jeans at all, yeah, well that has changed now that i have these. rest time at the fake beach by the lake. nice to get feet in the sand and look out across the water with sun on your face. was quite beautful. sweater: marks, SOFT edge to edge cardigan > very soft and long, i like to wear it on the plane because it works like a snuggie but fits in your carry on purse. it also covers up your whole outfit and shows only the legs so you feel skinny and never ugly. i was walking back to bike when camera shot here. needed to take off sweater cause it was so warm out. btw it is also quite warm, the sweater, snuggly really. washes up nice and soft, ok in dryer too. mum and sister, you would both love this. tank: holt renfrew, bamjamz > made from bamboo and really really comfy, breathes nice, actually for sleeping/yoga…bike riding i guess too. that’s exercise. it has a panda on it. not a sad panda, a happy panda i like to think. hat: some vintage shop @ st. kevins arcade, ponsonby, nz. got it that day i went shopping with a…

SERVED! Big big thanks to Smirnoff Canada for hosting another great event! The Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project has been travellin’ around 14 countries (Canada, USA, Great Britain, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Germany, India, Ireland, Lebanon, Poland, South Africa, Thailand and Venezuela). I would LOVE to go to one of the parties outside of Canada. Hellooooo nurse!!! Remember the last Smirnoff party I went to in the summer? watch it missy

Oh man, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today with a nasty kink in my neck. It’s been hurting for two days now. Gets less hurting as the day goes by but OMFG it kills. Last night we tried to change the PW on our wireless network and y’know what, imma not that savy at the ‘networking’ side of things and I effed up the internet. In other great networking news our cable effed up yesterday too. RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. I hate missing my show. So, today I woke up with no cable, or internet. First world problems FTW! Right when I was about to have a breakdown, my phone rang. It was Superman. My friend Michael Nus called at the right time and was in my hood and he came over and fixed my internet! THANK YOU. Shortly after, the cable guy called and told me there was an outage last night and I reset the cable box and that was fixed too. Oh yeah, I just got my Y and R fix, I feel better, that shit is addictive man. Y’know what happend next? I got mail! Now Richard Branson and I own the same watch. I realy hope I get to meet him next week in SF. Thanks Valerie and Plastic Chic for the new watch. I’ve not had a watch since highschool. It was a real Gucci watch and I took it off to teach some kids breakdancing and got called on stage. When I went back, it was gone. I’m gonna keep this one safe! Love this tune. How great of a movie is Beaches? I remember watching in in the basement on a Saurday morning, early, with my sister. Sad but so happy their friendship those two. The shirt above is Cybelle from NZ. My fav Orly nail polish in shiny Black Out and Joe Fresh matte lipstick in Poppy. A couple of my recently acquired new favourites. Went to Shopgirls Gallery Boutique the other day and got some Yoga Jeans. Great little shop it is, located in Parkdale and carries all kinds of Canadian designers. All the staff are artists and they have gallery space on the walls. They have a blog, Twitter and are on FB too. Michelle the owner took me around and we perused all the Canadian designers. Look at her in the gorgeous collar. I want! These are the Yoga Jeans I picked, signature limited edition made for Shopgirls exclusively, down to the last couple pairs ones. Check me out, Shopgirls logo there. This is the standard lunge test. It works, they are SUPER stretchy. Wont lose their shape. Retail around $110 which is totes reasonable. I never wear jeans and wore them all day yesterday, deff Casie approved. The best pants I’ve worn in a while. Go to the boutique and get some of your own it is at 1342 Queen Street West. They are probably open call 416 534 7467 to check first. It reminded me of a little shop I might see in Ponsonby, Auckland filled with New Zealand designers.
