linking twitter to facebook fan pages

For a couple days I’ve been fussing around with how to link the Twitter for one of the pages at work to a Twitter account other than my own.  Obvs my personal account and the accounts I run at work are very different, as are the fan pages. I knew, I just knew it couldn’t be THAT hard and fussed around with a bunch of apps and FBML code and it was driving me nuts. I went straight to the source and called a trusty friend at Facebook named Andrew and he solved my problem in UNDER 4 MINUTES! Go to facebook.com/twitter, make sure you are logged in to the right Twitter account to connect to your page, click ‘link to Twitter’, authorization will happen and VOILA, DONE. Hit easy button. Lesson Learned: You can find EVERYTHING on Google but when you need a simple answer, ask a simple question at the source. I wasted about an hour searching, testing out crap and making phone calls when Andrew saved the day in no time. BOOYA! HAVE A GREAT DAY!

after spending hours on twitter and tumblr

I feel like my blog here, my daily diary is missing my attention. I like to update is early in the day and the last couple weeks I’ve been so busy. See, the thing is, tumblr is so immediate and all about pictures and frequent updates and twitter is instant and short and wordpress takes longer for me to publish. It’s amazing how the world of blogging has changed since I started. My blog began on myspace with poetry in 2005, blogger in 2006 as casiestewart.blogspot.com, 2007 with a redirected and URL as casiestewart.com. In May 2009 I moved to fully hosted on wordpress. Moving to wordpress allowed me to have more control over the layout and design as well as widgets and plugins I wanted to add. Since I’ve been using posterous and tumblr, I feel like they’re all extensions of this blog, they’re all part of my life on the internet. Posterous is tech related things and nerdy stuff, updated almost daily. Tumblr is pretty girls and inspiring things from around the web updated daily. Twitter is everything in between! Oh god, I love the internet.

This kinda reminds me of Dad. Posted it on Tumblr earlier today. My dad is so cool, he’s got tattoos and muscles.  He used to be jacked when I was young and he also had a huge beard. Been a while since I saw Daddio. DAD IF YOU READ THIS I MISS YOUR FACE OK! I just saw someone tweet about trampoline. Did you know my Dad was a Tramp Coach? Yeah, trampoline. I tweeted a bunch today and also formspringed. Did you know YOU CAN ASK ME ANYTHING? Go, amuse me please. I’ve answered 427 so far, and counting. My sista, Jenie is coming ova tonight too. Hellz yeah. Wonderful day. Well, except the fact that today I’m the stinky kid so I have to keep my arms down and sweater on. Fahk, happens to us all once in a while. I’m off to Peach Berserk to reveal the WINNER in the dress design contest for school kids. They just rung me to say the place is full of girls waiting to know. Young ladies,  here I come with hopes to inspire you! Ok. bye. Gotta run, can’t make all these kiddios wait!

advanced twitter search

If you don’t know what you’re search for, it’s hard to find it. Depends what you’re searching but twitter search is kinda fun. Advanced options make searching for what you want  easier, not harder.  Positive attitude comes up in the search bar as a winky face 🙂 i like it I watched 50 First Dates today. I imagine losing my memory…writing a post of what I did everyday, it would be the only way to go on. Ya, great idea…make a new movie about a girl with a blog who forgets, there’s an idea. Talk about social media robot! New event, new people everyday. Online update, real life modern Truman, human. By the way, there’s body scans and pat downs at the airport now, wear nice undies and good bra if you have boobs. Check out this kid, barefoot bandit! Last Friday I posted TGIF and you know what? I’m gonna do it again! I’ve had a great week at work. Feeling better as each day goes by, I’m kinda getting the hang of things. Life is extraordinary in the moments when you are laughing so hard you can barely breathe. These moments of deep laughter are divine in the sense that they cleanse your mood and set your mind on a positive track. Making the Yellow Light – It’s one of the most common simple pleasures, the act of beating the pack. As you blaze through the yellow light you glance in your rearview to see all the cars behind you stopping at the red light. Yes! You made it! 3. This laughing girl…love laughing and photos of girls laughing always put a smile on my face. I like to Tweet them via Tumblr when I see a real beaut. That’s it for the Friday wrap up. I’m back to the Impact Conference & stoked to be at the HEAD TABLE with Jeff and Justin Trudeau. I’m out of town all weekend and back at the office Tuesday! BON WEEKEND!
