where every little thing had its own secret life

I’m sitting here eating a big fatty poutine and my mind is racing with all the things I have to get done. Spent the weekend doing fun stuff with friends.  It was Jeff’s birthday and Karrera came over and tested me for allergies too. More on that stuff later. I’ve got heaps of emails that need my attention, not to mention all the work I have to get done at the office. I’m not complaining, I truly love it, I just wish there were more hours in a day or I could function without sleeping.  I had an awesome week last week. I got asked to attend a Young Entrepreneurs Conference this weekend as a Social Media Star & MTV girl.  I’m working on a part for a pilot with YTV. Paid writing gigs are becoming more frequent.  I’ve got some holiday giveaways planned for December with some Givenchy and Burts Bees for you. AND people keep asking me for advice on social media. Finally, my hard work is paying off!! On a naughtier note, I watched Sex Rehab last night. I saw a promo for it at the office and though it would be interesting…it is.  I’ll be tuning in every Sunday for therapy. haha I also wanna be Lady Gaga in Bad Romace. zomg. I’m home watching the Oscars with friends and comp unit. It’s pretty fun because the Twitter community is ALSO sitting at home doing the same thing as me. It’s actually pretty funny. Loving this remix of Tove Lo’s ‘Stay High. I put all the recent songs from my Shazam (music discovery app) and put them in an Rdio playlist. The three day event runs October 24th-26th at The Direct Energy Centre and features all kinds of seminars, art, wellness, celebrities, and other fun stuff to do with sex and romance. It’s a great time of year for this show because we’re about to start hibernation and if we have a winter like last year, we’ll all be spending heaps of time at home. And hopefully not alone! I creeped the event website and found this group of cool peeps I can vouch for that are worth checking out at the show: Actor, musician, gamer, and bar owner Rainbow Francks Artist extraordinaire Jessica Gorlicky UFC babe Elias Theodorou (met him at Todd’s show last month) Katrina McKay from Ohhh Canada! The one & only Todd Shapiro Adult film star Voodoo (met him on Todd’s show too) Caryle Jansen from on Good For Her shop, did a seminar w/ her & Raymi in 2011  Other things I reco checking out are burlesque, the leather, latex, and the exhibitor floor. You know I love Gaga. I’ve told you a bunch of times before. Remember the MMVAs last year? Kingi from Peach Berserk made me a custom dress with all the big performers on it: Bieber, Katy, Drake, Miley.  I was excited. I worked with some really great people at Much & MTV last year, the MMVA experience is very memorable. My job was Social Media Queen and it was super fun to say the least.  Blog post from MMVA Day 2010 is here. I’ve got a couple things planned for MMVA weekend this year. One is a party w/ Gaga’s DJ, Lady Starlight. 🙂 Starlight will be rocking The Velvet Underground (510 Queen St West) after the MMVA’s June 19 in Toronto.
