Last night I went to the Rap’s game at the ACC. It was pretty fun. It was the last home game of the season and it was very energetic. They were also giving away TONS of stuff. 
My friend from college happened to be tossing out shirts and stuff right in my section and he tossed me this Bosh jersey. Still has the tag on it for $134.99. I asked Jenie if she can get it signed so I can sell it for big bux. I hear people like this Bosh guy.

I realized by the time I got home that I had too many beers which is stupid because I took it easy all weekend. Ah well, happens to the best of us!
it’s not that far away
In order to distract myself from cleaning the mess that I call my room I went down to the pool for a swim. The sun was so bright, I’m dying for it to be warm enough for bikini time.
Twestival Update – dig that well!
On February 12th 2009 I was part of a team that put together Twestival Toronto (#twestivalTO). If you don’t know about Twestival I posted a bunch about it here and here. Our city was one of hundreds that took part to raise money for charity:water to drill wells in places where people did not have access to clean water. 
Toronto raised about $10,000 and all cities together raised about $250,000. The event was fun and I met a ton of great people because of it.

rollin’ with ma homies
When I was little I used to cruise around with Dad in hot rods all the time. It was SO much fun!
Yesterday I put on one of Mum’s old Deuce Doins shirts from 1981 and went for a cruise with my friend Jeff. Nothing like cruising in the sunshine in an old classic!
Was really nice out and the sun was shining bright. Lots of people out on the streets.

afternoon delight
Good day yesterday. AGO was fun, I love it there. There’s a few new guys up and they are putting up a teepee in the big open area behind the ticket checkers. 
I took home a post card of on guy I had a crush on. I don’t know why I like him, I think it’s the outfit and the pose. 
I popped into the members lounge with H, he’s a member. Nice furniture but pretty plain in the coffee area. I expected a more swanky modern design. The old house, grange, is the original gallery house. 
It’s been restored and reopened, hence why it was so historic looking. I heard from a reliable source that the upstairs isn’t open because they didn’t have enough money to get it up to building code. They store furniture and stuff up there now.
Gehry insisted that they make the house the members lounge. There is some really nice art in the eating area downstairs too. Very modern.

Friday good so far. Had a nice breakfast, nap and did my nails extra pretty. Looking springy with the pink & green favorites. 
I’m off to AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario). Nothing like having a free day to do what you like and go to the gallery! I’m planning on checking out this one again. He’s a man on a box on the top floor. I like it. I’d love a box painting of me in a cool pose. Enjoy your afternoon!!

yeah, i’d call it a good friday
Today is good Friday. All that means to me is l.o.n.g. weekend. Heck yes! I went for a walk and coffee and soaked up some sunshine. Then I came home and hung out with my BFF; we look very much alike.
I’ve been feeling super busy lately and have been looking forward to this weekend so I can chill out and relax. I love spending time at home with myself. 
It’s really important to take time for yourself & recharge. If I don’t get self time I get grumpy. Today, I’m feeling great. Happy Holiday to everyone celebrating. I’ll be celebrating myself!casie’s animal kingdom
Last night I went to bed early and today I woke up early. I needed that. This fluctuating weather has got my energy spent. I had the pleasure of seeing one of my favorite furry friends, Smudgey. Smudge is a friends cat and my favorite. 
Those that know me well are aware that I am not the biggest fan of pets. I’ve never had a dog and it’s been years since I had a cat. The thing I don’t like is when their hair and slob get on your stuff. Especially when you stop by someones place before heading out while dressed nice and slobber-dog grazes your knee with his lips. That does it for me, turns me right off having a pet at the moment. I’m sure a time will come. Until then, I give you, Smudgey to the tune of MIA’s Jimmy covered by Of Montreal.
