spring fever baby, take me for a ride

Even if it doesn’t last, even if it snows again, I don’t care, this makes me so happy. I need to get my bike tuned up, tires pumped, rust removed.

She wants me to rider her. I walk past her everyday, we glance at each other. We want to be together. We will be together. She’s beautiful.

This one was taken  in an alley off Queen Street in March about two years ago. I used to have red wellies but they ‘somehow’ went missing.  It was really weird, I went away from the weekend and came back and they were gone. My heart still hopes they turn up one day, until then I’m happy to have red Moovboots.

I really hope Spring is on it’s way and winter has sprung. I’m ready for sunshine, bare legs and open toes. Fingers crossed, we can only hope. Enjoy it while it’s here!

There’s already over 100 people confirmed. Get a ticket right away. See you there!

the way to a girls heart is through her closet

I’m a hoarder. A clothes lover of sorts, heaps and piles of them constantly fill my room closet/floor/bed. It’s overwhelming to think about putting them away.

I know this may seem trivial to some but too bad, it’s my thing, always has been, always will be.  I love clothes and shoes..and accessories.

Recently got these amazing white skinny jeans from Jonny who runs Shop My Clothes.   He’s a friend, a blogger and one of my contributors to the MTV magazine  I told you about a while back. (BTW FORA comes out later this month. Stay tuned!)

I saw some great style on there today: Christian Louboutin’s ($160 size 8), DVF jacket – 3/4 sleeves/tuxedo collar ($75).  It’s in Canada/USA and you can post FOR FREE. HAZAA!

His site’s been growing fast so I figured it was about time I shared it. I also figure the only way I’m going to be able to justify getting anything new is to clean out some of my nice things and post them on Shopmyclothes.com.

I’m sure they would rather be on a  warm body than permanently hanging in closet darkness. I just need to clean up the clothes, that’s the hard part. I keep avoiding it. I need a cleaning lady, I’m cleaning lazy.

life is about building relationships

I think this “Gold Canada Gold” melted.  Sun was so beautiful in the afternoon yesterday, I really wanted to get on my bike. It needs a tuneup and a shine.

Watched the Bachelor. It’s so annoying, I can’t believe he picked Vienna but he did.  I realize I hate that stupid show and remind myself not to watch it. I’ve been having trouble sleeping, I stay up and work on things. I wish I didn’t get tired.  The body needs rest, as does the mind. Gah, I’m excited about life, I can’t help it. Been eating a bit less healthier the last two weeks, lost a few pounds. Feels good, dreaming of summer like errrry day.

I’ve started liking Google Buzz. Seems like a good aggregation tool and my Google profile has links to everything. Looking into more features and will share another day. I’ve been in a love affair with Google for a long time. It’s been a really good relationship. Very little downtime and always surprising me with new things. I like it.

so you wanna start a bloggy blog, eh?

In the last couple months all kinds of people have been coming out of the woodwork and asking me about blogging. I’m talking people I went to school with years ago, friends from across the world, country, Mum, Sister and friends that were so not into ‘”the whole blogging” thing.

If you or one of your friends are interested in learning about blogging, personal branding online and/or social media, here’s ya chance to get some good value.

Raymi the Minx, Sean Ward, Carly and I along with Function 13 Gallery in Kensington are hosting a blog chat/seminar.

This is your invitation from me. Get a ticket HERE.

#moovboot: and the winner is…

Thank you for the comments, I didn’t expect to get SO MANY!  I’m happy to announce the winner of the #Moovboot contest is…

I wish I could give you all a pair to keep your little feet warm and dry. I met Bre through Twitter and IRL at the Movember party. We’ve become friends now so she probably doesn’t think she’ll be the winner BUT SHE IS! Not only did she comment & tweet with the hashtag, but she posted a twitpic and started a conversation with me about them more than once.

She’s probably gonna freak when she reads this. Congrats Bre, I’ll chat you about delivery etc.

The other winner is CANADA! We fucking killed it last night. I’m so proud to be Canadian. My sisters puppy Tikka is proud to. Went for pint of Molson Canadian with the fams.

Don’t mind my double chin, it’s not really like that ok. Have a great day. Enjoy the gold glory. Kinda glad it’s all over and I never wanna hear ‘I Believe’ again, too bad it’s stuck in my head! ah.

IRL date with the internet girl?

I’ve  got passes to the movies for Tuesday night and I’m going to take one of you lovelies as my + 1. Lemme know if you wanna come by leaving a comment. I’m open to boy or girl, I don’t discriminate. Girls encouraged actually. I’ll pick someone special to sit beside me. No funny business.

BTW, did you know Roll Up the Rim starts today?

synchronized speed scating vs. skating

Is that a spelling error? Hm. Funny.

It went like this…Olympics, two blondes, blogging,  bonging, thinking about new sport ideas.  Me typing ” synchronized speed skating,” and typing “synchronized speed scating” by accident. We DIED laughing. So funny.  Haha.

I wish I could type as fast as I think sometimes…you wouldn’t believe some of the things that come outta my brain. I just typed “thongs” instead of things right thurrr.

Lesson to be learned. Check your stuff before you post. There’s nothing worse than someone Tweeting/emailing/commenting/calling you to say you made an error. Hate that.

Went for a stroll this morning in tights and my jacket. No pants. It was surprisingly mild out!

oh canada, i prey we beat their american asses

Our Father, who art in Vancouver, hockey be thy name. Thy will be done, GOLD to be WON on ICE as well as IN THE STANDS. Give us this day, our hockey sticks, and forgive us our penalties, as we forgive those who crosscheck against us. Lead us not into elimination, but deliver us to victory, in the name of the fans, CANADA, and the HOLY PUCK. AMEN! █ ♥ █

* i did not write this baby, but it’s so good. been floating around on FB as ‘hockey prayer’

This could be the proudest day in Canadian Olympic history ever. This is the game, more than any other that will make us appear to be the coolest country in the world (even thought we obviously are) or break our hearts and spirit. Everyone will be watching, including me.

celebrity endorsement for a good time #bridlebash

Last Thursday a me & some of the blog girls were guests to Cabbie’s Celebrity ping pong tourney. I played for my very first time & it’s fun! We’ve got a table at our condo and thinking about having our own “twing twong” with Carol and some other Twitter tweeps.

Team Bijan took the trophy once again. Look at these guys, they beat ALL the young whippersnappers. Heard a rumor Bijan was once world champ or something…Hawaii can you confirm this fact??

Jallore got a couple pix from the after-party and boy am I glad cause Cabbie cracks me up. Look at his shirt ‘Plan B $29.99‘ BAAAAAHAHAHA. Oh man, so many jokes running through my head right now…

If you don’t know what plan B is (Mum?) it’s an over the counter ‘don’t get pregnant’ pill combo for after sexual relations/condom mishap. When I asked him about it, he said he always pays.

Everybody loves a HOE train? Look at Cabbie’s face, BAAHAHA. (Actually laughed out loud, hence the caps.) Loved this blonde girl, she had great dance moves and a rocking body. She’s so beautiful compared to Sheffi’s ass.

Spent most of the night talking about blogging The Bridle Bash this summer. Bridle Bash parties are easily the best I’ve ever been to. Last time (in my friends backyard) the party raised about $500,000 and had over 1,000 people. Serious house party. I’ll be doing roll call for an entourage of hotties to join me. I’ve got a bit of a history of rolling up to the red carpet with about a dozen beauties. Stay tuned 😉
