you make me laugh so hard, ILU Dad.

Great weekend home at Dad’s. Check out my first car he built for us: Dad built this for Jenie and I when we were kids. Hot pink with flames, yeah he did. He is rad my Dad. He’s building this one for himself right now called a Rat Rod.

i’m falling for you.

Love the seasons changing. I promise myself I will clean up my room on Sunday. It is honestly one big closet with a bed in it. Thinking the next place I live will need to be a 2 bdrm, preferably an old house with big rooms. Been thinking about moving out of the core-hardcore deep downtown. Meh, I’ll probably change my mind again like tomorrow. I love the view here. Holy nut case eh. bahaaa. Reilly took this last night. I like it. Finally chatted with Mum today. She’s sailing to Bahamas with her BF on their 40 ft sail boat. Begged her to send some photos already. They are in New Brunswick at the moment. Today they sailed 10 hours and went through a lobster fishing area. Mum said it was nuts. She is going to freak when she see’s this. Don’t worry, the piercing comes out. My eyes wattered like CRAY when he put that needle in. Don’t know how long i’ll keep the piercing it but it looks pretty cute. This is pretty crazy too. Dude landed the first double back flip in a wheelchair ever!! Mad skills. Watching his couple attempts before he gets it were insane. Balls that guy. WHOA. Don’t try this at home ok. You could really hurt ya damn self! Really getting excited for NZ Fashion Week. Been checking out designers and NZ bloggers on NZTV. It’s one of my cuzzie’s birthday and imma get to hang with her. We’ve only ever met a couple times so pretty stoked. Probs gonna see Nana too. SO EXCITED. Weeeeeeeeeee! Sunday funday!

i’m a free bitch baby

Sunday Funday says it all. If you have never been to Pride in Toronto, or any city…get off your ass and go! Let yourself be free!! You will never find a more open, positive crowd of free spirits having a gay old time anywhere. Jenie & I had a B-L-A-S-T. Once I went to Pride in Sydney, they have the parade at night and it’s totally wicked. I hope to experience NY & SF one day too. Watch this & wait for the guy at the end, he was serious show stopper. I loved watching jaws drop as they passed him. We stopped & stared for a bit too. It was impossible not to TBH. Told ya so. More Pride pix here.

its really pretty here

I’m down by the water near my house, Lake Ontario and it’s sooo lovely right now. Had a photoshoot earlier today with Erika . When it was done I strolled over to the Beer Store and got a couple Sapporo and came to lay in the grass. The sun is shining so beautifully on the water. I’m watching planes land at the Island Airport. Lots of people walking by with dogs, holding hands, speaking different languages. Saw a cute boy on a longboard. Its so refreshing to sit outside in the sun and be alone to think and recharge my batteries. Gonna head home soon as it gets a little chilly and watch the Junos and do a little Tweeting for @mtvcanada. Today is a good day, Sunday Funday.

a fashionable woman is always in love…

And so it began…the day of closet organizing. I photographed about 100 pieces and there’s  many more to go. It’s a huge job. I had a garbage bag size pile of clothes to take to the swap and at the end of the day all the leftovers go to charity. It was at Amy’s friend Daniella’s shop Chasse Gardée, Queen and Dovercourt. So many nice things in the shop. I spotted about 20 pairs of shoes I’d love to own.  Smile for the cam-cam ladies! People brought clothes throughout the day so the merch was always changing. I ended up going back later with Keri and donating more clothes. Oh it felt so good to give them away! We all managed to find a few jems. There was lots of really nice stuff (vintage, designer). Demin jacked I’ve now altered, vintage dress and brand-new-tags-on FCUK mini dress with pockets. Steal. I am now the proud owner of a room where there are no clothes on the floor, EVERYTHING is clean and has a home. It’s been ages. I feel like my mind is free from clutter, finally! I’m thankful for my first job at the GAP in 1996, everything is perfect folded. I’m totally inspired to host my very own swap with wine and cheese. Stay tuned. I reckon before the holidays (which are very quickly approaching). It’s so beautiful outside today, like a second summer. Enjoy it. I’m going for a bike ride. Woot – Sunday Funday! p.s. Taylor Swift was hilarious on SNL last night and I love her.
