SERVED! Big big thanks to Smirnoff Canada for hosting another great event! The Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project has been travellin’ around 14 countries (Canada, USA, Great Britain, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Germany, India, Ireland, Lebanon, Poland, South Africa, Thailand and Venezuela). I would LOVE to go to one of the parties outside of Canada. Hellooooo nurse!!! Remember the last Smirnoff party I went to in the summer? It was called Graphic (click to see video) It was the one with the comic book theme? Shiz was off the hizzle. Check out pix from Nightlife Exchange Project on Facebook at Smirnoff Canada. My fav was the balloon drop from the ceiling and the music.  We  danced up a storm, threw back drinks and managed to get home before it got too cra-zay. Oh man, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today with a nasty kink in my neck. It’s been hurting for two days now. Gets less hurting as the day goes by but OMFG it kills. Last night we tried to change the PW on our wireless network and y’know what, imma not that savy at the ‘networking’ side of things and I effed up the internet. In other great networking news our cable effed up yesterday too. RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. I hate missing my show.  So, today I woke up with no cable, or internet. First world problems FTW! Right when I was about to have a breakdown, my phone rang. It was Superman. My friend Michael Nus called at the right time and was in my hood and he came over and fixed my internet! THANK YOU. Shortly after, the cable guy called and told me there was an outage last night and I reset the cable box and that was fixed too. Oh yeah, I just got my Y and R fix, I feel better, that shit is addictive man. Y’know what happend next?  I got mail! Now Richard Branson and I own the same watch. I realy hope I get to meet him next week in SF. Thanks Valerie and Plastic Chic for the new watch. I’ve not had a watch since highschool. It was a real Gucci watch and I took it off to teach some kids breakdancing and got called on stage. When I went back, it was gone. I’m gonna keep this one safe! Love this tune. How great of a movie is Beaches? I remember watching in in the basement on a Saurday morning, early, with my sister. Sad but so happy their friendship those two. The shirt above is Cybelle from NZ. My fav Orly nail polish in shiny Black Out and Joe Fresh matte lipstick in Poppy.  A couple of my recently acquired  new favourites. Went to Shopgirls Gallery Boutique the other day and got some Yoga Jeans. Great little shop it is, located in Parkdale and carries all kinds of Canadian designers. All the staff are artists and they have gallery space on the walls. They have a blog, Twitter and are on FB too. Michelle the owner took me around and we perused all the Canadian designers. Look at her in the gorgeous collar. I want! These are the Yoga Jeans I picked, signature limited edition made for Shopgirls exclusively, down to the last couple pairs ones. Check me out, Shopgirls logo there. This is the standard lunge test. It works, they are SUPER stretchy. Wont lose their shape. Retail around $110 which is totes reasonable. I never wear jeans and wore them all day yesterday, deff Casie approved. The best pants I’ve worn in a while. Go to the boutique and get some of your own it is at 1342 Queen Street West. They are probably open call 416 534 7467 to check first. It reminded me of a little shop I might see in Ponsonby, Auckland filled with New Zealand designers. I love all these kinda things with feathers and lace and leather. This table was so cool. Made from bicycle parts as you can see. I’d love to see Dad make one of these. Hey Dad, can you make this? Ever wonder what the front row is tweeting from? What camera’s at the show? Stylish gadgets I tell ya. Busy as for the next month when I return home. Luckily it’s with all my favourite things; tech, style & music – TedX Toronto elite invite only geek conference, Indie Music Week and LG Fashion Week. I just googled LGFW and it means ‘Lets Get Fuckin’ Wankered’. haha Man I love NZ. It’s pretty small but really nice. There’s a few things I’d have liked to get done ex. bungy jump, see Palmy or visit Waiheke Island. Imma just gonna have to come back. It’s been ten years since I was last here and I’m not letting that happen again. Venus took these photos of us, top is front row at the Huffer show Friday night. Their collection is stuff I’d wear but reminded me H&M and I just can’t get over that it’s called HUFFER. We all know what Huffing is, no? Check the bed spread below by Nom*D, it’s made of CORSETS + BRAS! Holy style. – want. More photos here. We seriously had a blast this week! I wish I had a photog/assistant + driver all the time.
