Joining Shakira’s Wolf Pack to Open Her Show

Last week I did something awesome! I was invited to the Shakira concert by a friend, and we then got the ultimate VIP experience: Joining Shakira’s Wolf Pack to open the show! WITH HER. IT WAS SO COOL. Watch my video below! It was a sold-out show at the Scotiabank Theatre, with over 20,000 people in attendance. Biggest audience I’ve ever performed for haha. We arrived early for rehearsal, then spent some time in the VIP area having drinks, snacks, and making bracelets at her Bangle Bar. Once it was go time, we walked out into the packed stadium, where fans screamed, took photos of us, and reached out to grab us. Shakira was just a few people in front of me! Beni and ended up giving our jackets & glasses to these cute little girlies in front of us that danced the whole show and knew every word. 👯It was SUCH A GREAT show. She is truly amazing. Thank you Luis, aka @mightymendoza for making this magic happen! ✨One of the craziest things I’ve done! WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! She Wolf for life now! 🐺 Last summer, Luis hooked myself and two friends up for a VIP experience to see Red Hot Chilli Peppers, check it out here!

A Little Life Lately – Mirror Selfies

Oh hi! It’s me, your old friend! I’ve been a bit slack about updating my blog, and it’s ok; that happens sometimes. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know I’ve been busy. Here’s a little life lately, all in mirror selfies. 😊 In January, I moved into a new place and neighbourhood and started a new gig with a cool client. I’ve tried to stick to my workouts, but it’s been challenging as I’m not as close to my favorite spots anymore. I’ve been keeping up with my Monday weight-lifting and my Wednesday yoga, mixed in with a few different studio classes here and there. I have been spending a lot of time at home, working, walking the neighbourhood, and thinking. I walked 7km today! I’ve had a bunch of auditions over the past few weeks, including a couple in-person auditions (rare!). I’m hoping to book something soon! Please send out your good vibes for me. In other news, my CHFI commercial got extended on TV (Toronto) and out-of-home (Calgary). I’m in a new advertising campaign for Value City Furniture in the USA (in-store, online, billboard, social ads). I’ll share some more about this soon! I have a couple more fun things to share, but I will get to those another time! I’m really happy it’s finally spring, with longer days and warmer temperatures. We made it through winter! Looking forward to summer activities, parks, beaches, boats, cute outfits, and spending lots of time in the sun. Hope you’re having a great week. 💖

Yoga Camp in Haliburton

In September, I went to Yoga Camp! This retreat was a perfect blend of mindfulness, movement, and the great outdoors. It was refreshing to wrap up summer, and I left feeling balanced, inspired and recharged. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just starting your practice, the weekend is designed to meet you where you are. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the positive energy. The camp was lush and inviting, with spaces to practice yoga, meditate, and connect with others. The schedule included yoga flows, workshops, and opportunities to enjoy nature. Mornings started with energizing classes by the lake, followed by workshops that ranged from mindfulness to yoga, art, and free time to explore. In the evenings, listened to live music by the campfire and danced in the lodge, then turned in early for a cozy cabin sleep. The weekend was held at Camp Eden Woods, the ultimate camp experience in the Haliburton Highlands. We stayed in old-school cabins with bunk beds. I scored two empty beds, so I used one as my closet and another for sleeping. All my cabin mates were so lovely! The people I met were incredible; everyone was there to unplug, connect, and share the experience. Aside from yoga, my favourite activity was making art on the picnic tables in the afternoon. I made beaded name tags for a friend and me, and they’re so cute. The whole weekend was so lovely! Thank you to Taranee, Simone, and the Yoga Camp team for hosting an incredible time. I carried the feeling of this camp for weeks after. The culinary team at Camp Eden Woods was also top-notch, the food was so good. One of my blockers from going to the camp was not having a car; the organizers paired me with two wonderful women…

New Partnership! Polar Joe Cold Brew

This summer, I signed with Toronto-based agency Tombara Management Group, to focus on brand partnership deals. I’ve been in this biz for over a decade and I feel like this is a natural step to grow! 🤗 I’m excited to announce my new partnership with Polar Joe, a Canadian brand that combines two of my loves: fitness and coffee! ☕️💪 Their cold brew is packed with 21g of protein, 110 mg of caffeine, and tastes SO incredibly good. The whey protein is from New Zealand, just like me! 🥝🇳🇿 It’s a perfect match. Fitness has become a huge part of my life and finding ways to up my protein intake is key. I first tried Polar Joe a couple of months ago and was hooked. There’s no weird aftertaste or aspartame, my favs are the Classic Cold Brew and Vanilla Latte Cold Brew. Wanna give Polar Joe a try? Use this link or tap the button below to get a discount on your first order Huge thanks to my manager Patrik at Tonbara Management Group for making this happen, here’s to more exciting partnerships in 2025!

Lavender Blu: Very Demure, Very Mindful

In a mattter of days this phrase has taken over the internet. Brat Summer is over, we’ve moved on to Demure Girl Summer. It seemed like the perfect title for a post where I visit a Lavender Farm in the country. On my recent day trip to Durham Region, we stopped at Lavender Blu Farm, a small eco-family farm that’s been making artisanal lavender products since 2007. This quaint farm is located in Seagrave, Ontario, along the Sideroads of Scugog. Their mission is all about cultivating calm, something I can totally vibe with. The farm offers a variety of events throughout the summer including yoga, painting, and lavender picking. It can also be booked as a wedding or event venue. I would love to do yoga there! I loved learning about places to visit in the Durham Region, I had no idea there were so many farms an hour away from Toronto. The area is full of great places to check out including markets, pubs, museums, and galleries, see a full list at sideroadsofscugog.ca. The studio has lavender hanging from the ceiling and features over 80 lavender-inspired products. You will feel calm the moment you walk through the doors. The whole atmosphere of the farm is relaxing. Here’s to living a calm life! P.S. If the title of this post makes absolutely no sense to you, read this and watch this. It’s a TikTok thing and it’s taking over!
