I’m going to @Disneyland in California!

I’ve been invited to the happiest place on EARTH! Yes, it’s true. I’ll be spending six days next month in sunny California touring Disneyland, staying at THE Disneyland Hotel, and hanging out in the OC and LA with their tourism boards. It’s every  girls dream come true! I’m hoping to recreate a photo of me with Mickey Mouse that was taken when I was a toddler. Mum, did you find that yet? These pix are from the Disneyland archives (via LA Times) and this little ticket is the first one ever sold. It’s been a while since I had a vacation and I can’t wait. Disney has also invited my BFF Lauren, a bunch of other bloggers, and I’m bringing my BF. I’ve never been so thankful to be  a blogger! I can see me wearing tulle, and Mickey Mouse ears the whole time. Ahhhhh! I’ll be sharing  moments as they happen on Twitter/Instagram and documenting the entire trip with my new Canon DSLR. If you’ve ever been to Disney or have any tips for LA and the OC, please leave in the comments! It’s been a couple years since I was in LA and I’ve never been to the OC! Squeeeee! CASIE

Adieu Montréal, tu étais belle.

Le tired today. It’s very rainy and gloomy here. Currently experiencing the worst hair ever. En route home from Montreal. I think this was the shortest trip I’ve ever taken. Event last night was good. Next stop, Toronto. Heading to Fort York for the Arts & Crafts Field Trip today. I hope it’s not too cold! Ok, engine started. Ready for takeoff! CASIE

Montreal! Here I Come! Vroooooooooom!

No, I’m not driving to Montreal but I AM en route to MTL via Porter Airlines for the F1 launch event Film Fashion F1 hosted by Community and sponsored by Porsche and Martini. I’ve loved racing since I can remember so this is pretty exciting. I’d love to being Dad but this is a work trip so I’ll be busy the whole time. Sorry Dad, will take pix! My first race was the Toronto Indy in high school and a friends family business sponsored a driver. It was AMAZING! I had full pit passes and spent part of the afternoon during the qualifiers lounging on a boat outside Ontario place with some Hawaiian Tropic girls.  I really wish I had photos but it was WAY before I was on the internet and digital cameras weren’t invented yet. [No comments on that please!] The last time I went to the Honda Indy in Toronto I arrived to my spot just as the cars were crossing the finish line and landed some camera time on TV. That kinda stuff always happens to me! Boarding my plane now. Hope you are having a lovely day!

Girls, Tattoos, Attitude + Sun

I haven’t decided to colour in the owl on my arm or not. I like it like this. I think it’s time for some new work. I have a few ideas but it’s time to get drawing. Some nice girl tattoos on this blog I found. My right arm has tattoos because I’m left handed and I draw them on first. Had a jerk chicken sandwich on the patio at Harlem Underground yesterday. Was ok, made me miss Ackee Tree, that place had the best jerk sandwich ever. Loving this warm summer sunshine. The lake waves are crashing on the dock. Rdio cottage mix in the background. Beaut!
