Saw this painted over billboard near Spadina/Queen. I love the street art we have in this city. You can’t really tell but it says “Are you really an asshole or just insecure?” I tweeted a link to some new street art earlier but here’s some of the photos. So neat. Lego love. Pretty PBR flowers. where i got my ipad. an empty space lined with caution tape now, only a memory. hung out at starbucks, i read apps and downloaded information to my brain. smart. oh, to be that sweet breeze that brushes by and makes you feel warm then smile. do you men know about this store? if i was a man i would check it out. i will, they blog. i am addicted to where’s waldo like a child. i will find you all, wizard, scroll, wenda. afternoon stopover in this little spot. the 420 so well hidden from daytime traffic. i find this type of construction a joy to watch. all the little men like lego, building. is this what my building looks like under ground? fascinating really, isn’t it? so many beautiful buildings in our city. sometimes the sun hits them just right. benches for tomorrow. i don’t have a poppy. war isn’t the same now as when grandad went. the leaves are so very beautiful in the sun this time of year, look at their beauty. these ones were so dull, their colour had been lost and the wind blew them all away. dear this time of year, i love you. stay for a while, will you please? xo casie popped into the most colourful store in the city, peach berserk for some sunshine. arrived home and got this travel pack in the mail. thank you to the team at @constantbody. that is my day in photos. i will stay home for the rest of the day now 🙂
View PostWalked down to the ocean in Beach Haven, tide was out. So beautiful. I miss being near the ocean. When I lived in Bondi (Australia) I used to visit the water each day, lay in the sand, stare at the sky. I was really happy there, I’m happy now too. I climbed on the childrens boat, laxed on a bench, lazed in the sun. The flowers here are very beautiful. I have heaps of photos fronm the past week. People here have quite lovely gardens. Nana & Grandad always had a really nice garden. He had passion fruit trees , flowers and vegetables. I carved my name in a tree there too. Love you Grandad, miss you. Chilled out with Nana today. This is on my cousins lawn. Their house is great. I’ve been lucky this trip to stay at really nice places. I enjoyed staying with Kms the other day. His place felt kinda like my old house on Broadview in TO; artsy and musical with character. Nice fro babe. Walked into downtown Beach Haven, there’s about five shops, three takeaways, a dairy and a cafe with a foursquare checkin. I have a meeting at the cafe in the morning and will feel like my trip is complete if I can steal that Mayorship. GAME, SET, MISSION. Beer o’clock and diner making time. Got an extra suitcase today so I can bring home all my goodies. Love it here but ready to come home. Lots of exciting things on the horizon. love & light my friends xo
View PostThere’s this neat park near my place that I’ve fallen quite in love with. It has sprinklers, an infinity pond, grass, benches, and my most favorited big red canoe. The view is pretty of the city and that of the lake as well. I often see bunches of boys playing soccer in the field. It was designed by Douglas Coupeland and has Terry Fox memorabilia. Nice to have some green grass and trees in my concrete jumgle. Reminder: Plan a park hang soon.

Her attitude is totally refreshing. She doesn’t put up with whiny, negative, bitchy, complainers, and she knows what she’s doing because she worked at it. I find her to be quite admirable and I’m looking forward to seeing her IRL. I read more books in the summer, winter is online time. I like to bike somewhere with my book and lay under a tree, on a park bench in the sun. I stopped to have a sit in the grass and relax.Needed to cool down from the hot heat on the bike ride. Was tired on the bike today, really warm out today. Humid. Sat down for a cold refreshing one on the bench and felt calm. Gonna get a new style today.The stuff is in my hair is hot and it feels like I’m in direct afternoon sunlight on a hot summer day. It kinda burns a bit but it’s good. I’m starting to get excited for Pride. I get talking about past times and all the girls start calling and we make plans. OMG its so fun. I love. Its hot, burning right now a bit. I love coming here. I was so crazy with a mind a racin’ that I wasn’t relaxed. Now I’m relaxed. Beautiful outside right now, lovely. I looked at your picture but it wasn’t you it was an inposter of you circa something. I laughed. Facebook on phone means double notifications and major annoyance. Don’t like it. Do like getting my hair done. The colour is setting in. Its gonna be bright. I’m gonna freak out at first like I always do then love it. It’s going to be perfect for the weekend. I love it.
