Not feeling so awesome today. Have a bit of a cold and my nose is running. Imma get hopped up on meds so it’s hopefully gone by tomorrow. I do not wanna be sick for New Years in Montreal which is going to be totally awesome. Fly out tomorrow afternoon with Raymi & friends and we’re staying at the W Montreal which I am REALLY looking forward to. They have the best beds. Any guesses on how many photos will be taken? Over 1,000 for sure. Need to dump some off my netbook to my TB drive to start fresh Jan. 1, 2011.

I didn’t really take that many photos, not like I do when I’m at my house living my nomal (or not so normal) life. Spent most the time re-lax-ing.

This was my fav card I found at Walmart. Not including the musical ones.

Dad doesn’t have wifi and I didn’t bring my laptop so I only had my phone to blog/tweet/FB. Dad has a comp but he uses EXPLORER and I’m not compatible with that browser. Andy, without wifi, is just …an iPad.

Did some Chrissy shopping with a friend. This is a creepy Christmas to me: 24 gives me anxiety, Golum freaks me right out, and well, Hello Kitty is fine.

Old bestie from the Bridge Miss Sara Baker. Crazy how time flies, been about two years since I last saw her.

After being in the burbs for a few days, it feel SO GOOD to be home.

I miss my condo and my view. I miss my clothes and my clean room and my fancy sheets and comfy bed. I miss our kitchen and the balcony and all the stuff in the fridge (or lack thereof!). I miss my tv and digital cable and wifi. I just miss it all. 

I’ve been away so much this month all I wanna do is spend time at home. I’m coming back to my downtown life tonight, a few days in the burbs is more than enough for me!

Only two fine weeks ago I was sailing on a catamaran in the Caribbean Ocean.

Jenie and I are gonna play some serious Uno followed by some air hockey and games with Andy. Imma try and do as little as possibe but eat and drink.

Tonight, we’re gonna cause some holiday trouble in Kitchener. Look the eff out!

Checked my phone first thing. Christmas messages from around the world are so awesome to wake up to. Thank you! Went upstairs and woke up my sister like I always do. She likes to sleep in. Dad made coffee. Fireplace channel was on. There’s snow outside which is nice but it doesn’t quite feel like Christmas to me. Maybe its the lack of snow?

Last year I was in Cuba, hardly felt like Christmas then either. I was lazing by the pool at Hotel National in Havana eating bbq shrimp and fresh fish. I missed my family but there were so many distractions and I’m not that big on this holiday anyways. I enjoy giving presents all year.

This is the first year Mum’s not been here for Christmas. Stopped by the house yesterday. I miss you Mum, more today than any other day.

She makes it feel like Christmas, the many phone calls re: us coming home, who will be at dinner, what we are having, gift ideas, the tree, the decorations.

It’s not the same without you Mum and I wanna make sure you know it. We’re gonna have a great day at Dad’s today. I brought Uno and last night we played Apples to Apples around the kitchen table.

I’m sure the Bahamas is loving your energy Mum 🙂
