It’s a trending on twitter and it’s making news. Is this the war of 2012?  The war we knew was coming but nobody predicted exactly what because it wasn’t invented then. What if it sneaks up one day, like Sunday and ALL OF A SUDDEN… I can’t even imagine… Just think about how ANGRY and LOST you would be if you didn’t have your Internet life, love, freedom? Would I die? I might.

I know I’m being dramatic but when I think about it, it seems like a 2012 movie that I’m IN, happening in real time, right now

I don’t know much about hacking but ‘Largest Attack Ever‘ are big words.  Four peeps linked to Megaupload were arrested in New Zealand and are now being denied bail. Keri knows all about hacking and online security so naturally I went to her blog. Found this post:

Sh*t is going down right now! Those feds would shut this blog down in a hot second. I’m not in the USA but I’m sure they could make me stop publishing. The internet doesn’t have boundaries the way countries do. I have seven years of links and content at least. (Back up your blog!) Youtube has the most crazy comments but that’s why it seems like this is a movie. Scary thing is this IS REAL.

Ich Bin in Berlin

Hallo from Germany!!!

Fashion Week in Berlin kicked off today–EXCITING! Since I’ve been anxiously waiting 4 months since my arrival, I’m totally pumped to be covering BFW! In true #ALT fashion I wasn’t even going to attend any shows or parties tonight–after all, even though it is opening night, it’s almost better to be too cool to bother going to the mainstream stuff. Instead of making my way down to the defunct airplane hangar playing host to the international trade fair Bread & Butter, I decided to walk around Kreuzberg (read: hipster’s playground) and see what came my way.

It turned out that right around the corner after having a sushi dinner was an awesome photography exhibition party starring the edgy fashion photographer Tea Xuxu Nanuti happening at Galleria Butterfly Summit, a multi purpose gallery & store for design, art and photography.

Took a few snaps, had a few shots, all and all it was a great little warm up for what’s to come this week.

PS. Yes, they are real prescription but the prescription is almost invisible. New RayBans are my first official pair. I think they might be a little big for small head. NOT A BIG HEAD! haha. Thanks Clearly Contacts! I love wearing glasses when I work, they help me concentrate. I often wear a hat or cover my head when I work too. Don’t even challenge me in a ‘I’m the weirdest’ competition.

About two years ago I got new glasses and made this video. My Dad MADE the car on my shirt.

Ok bye. Time to work with glasses on and work before I go to Raymi’s house then Lauren’s house to watch them BOTH on MTV CREEPS TONIGHT 9:30.

Berlin Fashion Week 2012

It’s fashion season and for the next month or two the world is buzzing with fashion week’s all over the world. I won’t be at Berlin  Fashion Week (January 17th-22).  Seitensad! 🙁 BUT…my good Canadian friend Jessica Gardner will be!

Entrepreneurs Don’t Call in Sick, They Work

When you work for yourself you can’t really call in sick. I felt a bit of a cold coming on when I woke up so I’m going to work from bed today with hope of kicking this by tomorrow. In Boston this weekend and a cold is not an accessory I’d like to pack. Y’know what I’m sayin’?

I’m cookin’ up lots of fun stuff to share with you over the next coming weeks. Thinking that my new classes from Clearly Contacts will arrive today. I might whip up a nice home made soup this afternoon. If you are AT ALL feeling sick here’s two cures from my darling Mum that will kill those bad germs like the soldiers in Louie Pasteur kids book (it was my fav!).  Cure for throat here & cure for overall cold/sickness here. Thanks Mum 🙂

Extraordinary thing, The Internet

Turned off the awards show last night to watch one of my fav films, Closer feat Natalie, Clive, Julia and Jude. I love it. Natalie says she’s a ‘waif’ at the start of the film and The Waif’s are one of my fav Aussie bands. Turns out they’re from Perth like Sam. Today is a busy day shooting two things for two different tv networks (just my luck they’re both on the same day). These photos were sent to me last night from Javier Moltó in Madrid. We met last week in Detroit for the International Auto Show.

I loved this song when I lived in Australia and was happily reminded of it last night. I really want to go to London. Attending & covering the Olympics would be a DREAM come true.

Have a wonderful Monday. It’s nice to be back in town but I love that my international friends never feel that far away. Looking forward to tonight & hibernating. How many days till summer?
