Don’t have time to be sick either. Waiting for the crew to ge here to film something for an upcoming campaign later this month. I can’t tell you just what yet but I’m the spokesperson. My first gig like this and I really hope for more. I love being on camera and promoting things I like. This week is less busy than all of September. Thank god. I can’t afford to burn out. Dreaming of a vacation in January. Where should I go?

Ever wonder what the front row is tweeting from? What camera’s at the show? Stylish gadgets I tell ya. Busy as for the next month when I return home. Luckily it’s with all my favourite things; tech, style & music – TedX Toronto elite invite only geek conference, Indie Music Week and LG Fashion Week. I just googled LGFW and it means ‘Lets Get Fuckin’ Wankered’. haha Man I love NZ. It’s pretty small but really nice. There’s a few things I’d have liked to get done ex. bungy jump, see Palmy or visit Waiheke Island. Imma just gonna have to come back. It’s been ten years since I was last here and I’m not letting that happen again. Venus took these photos of us, top is front row at the Huffer show Friday night. Their collection is stuff I’d wear but reminded me H&M and I just can’t get over that it’s called HUFFER. We all know what Huffing is, no? I’ve got heaps of photos to round up from NZFW. Recognize this fine woman above? NY fashion queen Nicole Miller with Derek and I before a show. We all had a blast hanging out this week. The internationals really stuck together. We were also often the loudest. I met so many wickkkkkked people. Got heaps of following up to do. Look out world here I come. the show last night was hot. it was in a theatre, the place was packed. stylish people lined the streets in the cold. i was watching on twitter to see when they were getting started, late of course. got the driver to drop us at the door and we breezed through the crowd. sat front row, middle beside lovelies from fashion around the world. the show was more than just fashion, it was a production. the best models from the week were in it. the clothes were my fav, it was very sexy, i got a rose from the bridal bouquet at the end. lucky me 🙂 hung out with kms on ponsonby road after the stolen girlfriend’s club after party. that party was like a night out queen street west in TO, heaps of hot hipsers. good times. having the best time this week. extremely tired though. need a rest. ok bye xo

update 1: lovely sleep in my monster sized bed last night. caught derek on a new zealand breakfast show then headed with him and his handler to the venue. me venus at the media breakfast onsite. tasty brekky snacks and coffee. nails done by magic tan & beauty, hair done by ghd, makeup mac. wearing andy hall blazer, vintage skirt, nella bella bag. oh hai ghd hair + mac makeup lounge venus getting hair did saw juliette hogan show this morning and now running to sera lilly. having the best time. love you xo

This is my fav shiz right here – Jaffas, Minties, Pineapple Lumps (got them in the freezer), a dark chocolate Peanut Slab and a meat pie. I loooooove these guys, this stuff is New Zealand ledgendary to me. I will bring some home. It’s really fun to be a Canadian/Kiwi here for Fashion Week. I am stoked to see a bunch of shows tomorrow. Met lots of nice peeps this evening. Wore a dress by Canadian Designer Paris Li -looking forward to seeing what she says after I styled it up kinda different. It was #3 (see here) from when I tried on dresses at her place. You wont recognize when I show you tomorrow, I insist on being different. Meet my minder Venus Tong tomorrow morning at breakfast to sort out what shows I am attending. She is a babe. They have all day music videos on more than one channel. Remember when our music stations had that? It was my fav. Found this new song today by Kimbra on JuiceTV, their site is cool. The video caught my eye and the beat crawled up in my ears and made my body wanna move arond. Toes tapping. I am having fun.

We also have available to you Audi courtesy cars for getting to and from NZFW related business appointments and our off-site shows. A host will be assigned to you to assist with appointments etc throughout the week. This morning was great. I went to the Toronto Fashion Incubator and met Canadian Designer Paris Li. Thanks to my friend Jas Banwait who set it all up. I tried on three dresses. See the Twitpics here! Went with dress #3. It fit me so well and looked cute/classy. I’m planning to wear it to the opening party for NZFW. I leave in 9 days. Oh emm geee! Getting ready to head to The Drake Hotel this afternoon for a TIFF party & movie. Meeting Carly & my guest, Brock McLaughlin from The Futurists who is very close to becoming a new VJ for MuchMusic. Building a new blog. SO many tweaks and stuff and things I don’t know how to do that I need to ask. I have my friend Patrick helping me but it just ain’t that easy as uploading a new theme and hitting publish. Ah, I wish. Nice working on a holiday, the amount of emails is slower than normal and I feel like I got lots done. The airshow jets have been flying by all afternoon. I used to be quite excited by them but I just don’t feel the same anymore. I care more about getting shit done than rushing to the window to get a photo. Got a post card today from Rochelle while she was in Laguna Beach. It is vintage and handwritten. I love that she though of me, especially that she hand picked a vintage number. THANK YOU. I love getting mail. Wanna send me something? I’ll give you my mailing address if you ask. I wish I had someone to build this wordpress for me. Have a full calendar of events & meetings this week. Snagged a young stud to be arm candy for a couple things too. Tomorrow I’ve got a hair appointment with Darrek Kwik follwed by a dress fitting at Paris Li for New Zealand Fashion Week outfits. Opening of Toronto International Film Fest is Wednesday and I’ll be attending a couple things that day. This week is gonna fly by. I got an invite to the Tastemakers Lounge on Friday afternoon and confirmed I’ll be getting some swag. YEAH! It’s a celeb gifting/product placement lounge for the Film Fest, Anita gives you a good idea in her post from 2008. Got a couple movies to attend over the next ten days and a fancy tea party on Sunday afternoon.I leave…
