Oh hey there! This week I hosted the opening of Rudsak Canada’s new Yorkdale store with fellow fashion bloggers Julio (fashionights.com) and Nicole (daintygirl.ca). This year celebrates 20 years of the brand and Rudsak launched a Capsule Collection with 20 unique pieces, 20 of each, inspired of cool rebels in rock n’ roll history. Here I’m wearing the ‘Jimi’ hat named after Jimi Hendrix. Scroll down for your chance to win one of the 20 limited hats valued at $250! In between styling Julio and I had a few laughs. Throughout September I was featured by Bench Canada in their Love My Hood campaign. You might have seen a couple of these photos on their Instagram or Facebook. We snapped these shot at the Wallace Ave. bridge that was built in 1907. Their contest ends this week so scroll down for details on how you can enter. The bridge covers the train tracks that are currently being expanded to service the new GoTrain Express to Person Airport. Alongside the bridge, is the West Toronto Railpath that I like to run on and where I took heaps of GoPro photos at last winter. Dug up these old photos fro the depths of the Internet. I love seeing how the city has changed. I love seeing brands create good video content. Now, I’m a little bias on this one because I’ve been working w/ Ted Baker London for over a year and I absolutely love the clothes. Here’s a look at what’s coming to a store near you for Autumn/Winter 2015. Since it’s Thursday, here’s a pic Ted Baker posted from my visit to their 5th Avenue Grand House in New York last August. OH HEYYYYYYYY. LIKE MY NEW SHIRT? I came across this beauty and just had to have it! They were out of stock when I placed my order so I kinda forgot about it, then when I came home from vacation, it was here. ‘Turonno’ by Button Machine calls to how us Torontonians say ‘Toronto’. Nobody says ‘Tor-onto’ we all say Turonno. I absolutely LOVE when brands send it little ad-ons when you buy something online. They included their ‘Ol’ Dirty Rob‘ sticker. Thanks guys! In other news, I really hope we get a new mayor when the election rolls around. Our choices aren’t that great, but just about anyone is better than RoFo! Hi guys! Let me tell you about my new shoes and how you can win a pair! I recently got to check out the latest from Cat Footwear and was once again impressed with the stylish and dainty yet rugged styles. You’ll recognize the logo from construction equipment and big machines but little did you know they also make really nice shoes. You might remember a while back when I got my first pair Cat of boots, Stella. The leather is SO soft and I wore these babies for an entire winter and walked all over the city, and to different cities on my travels. They are very comfortable and as time goes on, they age like a fine wine. Comfortable shoes are the best kind, Vessi footwear have plenty of comfortable shoes which are also 100% waterproof and you can wear them on any occasion, including those water adventures that you like to go on with friends and family. From the Spring 2014 look-book I picked the ‘Mahoney’ in Nile. They are a clean classic oxford with a nice solid sole and leather upper. I’ve got a pair with your name on them! Buying a pair of new shoes feels like a well-deserved treat! Plus, we wear shoes pretty much every day, so whether you buy shoes from sites like Peter Sheppard, from a charity shop or from a shoe store on the highstreet, hopefully, it will be money worth spent.
