GIMME THAT DIRTY MONEY.

I have been a Puff Daddy fan since Puff Paddy & the Family album came out. I won the cd on Energy 108 when I was in grade 9. We drove to Burlington to pick it up from the station. Hows THAT for a throw back. Play this & keep reading. My friends at Universal Music have hooked this baby girl up with a pair of tickets to give away each day this week to go see Diddy Dirty Money at Koolhaus Sunday April 18. One pair each day Monday – Friday, concert is on the weekend. IN ORDER TO GET THE TICKETS: You must call my Virgin Hotline. (I will publish my number Monday.) Listen to the voicemail & jot down your task for the day. Go do what I tell you. Photograph it. Link to the photo in the comments. Tweet “GIMME THAT DIRTY MONEY DIDDY BABY GIRL, @casiestewart. http://bit.ly/dLzCn9” I’ll pick one awesome person to win each day. This gonna be f-u-n.

this one’s for the boys, you’re going to the spa!

I recently had the bext Friday afternoon escape from work ever, three hours at a SPA! Yep. I received a gift certiificate to ME Spa, not just any spa, Male Esthetics Spa that caters primarily to men. I showed up to this! Spa owner Douglas Coburn told me about his work and we picked a couple services while I sipped champagne & ate strawberries. First up was a full body scrub including face. It was so great do something good for my skin. Post scrub I went in to the bathtoom in a robe to wash off the scrub. You can kinda see it on my skin. After that I jumped into another even softer robe. I swear to you it was like being inside a stuffed animal, like one of those Gund or really expensive stuffed animals. I was already feeling less stress. Douglas used to be the Director of Esthetics at Bode Spa in Ottawa. A men’s spa is quite like any other (woman) spa except here they really know manscaping and how to ease stress of life in the city. I love hearing a guy I know got a manicure or pedicure. It shows you take care of yourself and that is sexy if you are man or woman.  If you are a dude who takes care of yourself, you will likley feel more confident. Then when you use that confidence to chat a beautiful lady, you won’t be self conscious about your unibrow, hairy back (god forbid shoulders), crackly feet, nose hairs (gross) ear hairs (ewww). Think how nice your manicured hand will look/feel on her…..    Yes. This is Douglas, super nice. I had rushed there and was all high-energy-crazy-internet-person, he was such a nice calm for my ADHD. He also writes for a magazine…

Remembered for setting the world on fire.

Andy Warhol: I wonder if people are going to remember us? Edie Sedgwick: What, when we’re dead? Andy Warhol: Yeah. Edie Sedgwick: Well I think people will talk about how you changed the world. Andy Warhol: I wonder what they’ll say about you… in your obituary. I like that word. Edie Sedgwick: Nothing nice, I don’t think. Andy Warhol: No no, come on. They’d say, “Edith Minturn Sedgwick: beautiful artist and actress… Edie Sedgwick: …and all around loon. Andy Warhol: …Remembered for setting the world on fire… Edie Sedgwick: …and escaping the clutches of her terrifying family… Andy Warhol: …Made friends with eeeeverybody, and anybody… Edie Sedgwick: …creating chaos and uproar wherever she went. Divorced as many times as she married, she leaves only good wishes behind. [laughs] Edie Sedgwick: That’s nice, isn’t it?
