To mark the one-year anniversary of Steve Jobs’ death, Apple replaced their homepage with a tribute video to Steve Jobs and a letter from CEO Tim Cook.The 1-minute, 45-second video on Apple.com features black-and-white still images and quotes from Jobs. “It’s in Apple’s DNA that technology alone is not enough — it’s technology married with liberal arts, married with the humanities, that yields us the result that makes our heart sing and nowhere is that more true than in these post-PC devices,” Jobs’ voice can be heard saying on the video, a quote taken from the iPad 2 launch in March 2011. It’s Tuesday and you are back to work. Hold your head high and put on a smile. I hope you had an awesome weekend. Lucky for us the weather is warm and the sun is gonna be out all week. I relaxed a lot this weekend. Spent time alone, got good sleeps. I wrote, I read, I cooked, I cleaned. I laid on the couch with the tv on playing with my iPhone. It was magical. One of the best things about ‘double Sunday’ as Raymi calls it is one extra day to do things you have not been doing. I even sewed something with Zoey my sewing machine. I feel new again! My hair is in Beatles mode. We listened to heaps of Beatles growing up. I love when Mum tells the story of them first getting a TV in New Zealand to watch the Beatles arrive. Stick Up for Yourself, Son Never Mind What Anybody Else Done
Feeling so excited. I might just take off, levitate, hover, from one place to another. It’s a holiday in Ontario but when you are an entrepreneur you don’t really get many days off, you don’t want to. Hopefully you are doing work you love that doesn’t ‘reallllllly’ feel like work. Friday, I fully made myself not work and I slept the entire day. Today, I’m working and getting ahead on things for the week. Have a video shoot today for something in LA LA Land. I am crossing my fingers, sending all my positive energy into the universe, hoping that a few things that have come up lately work out. You can cross yours too. I think it will help. This time last year was the calm before the storm of work and events that kicked off in September. Here’s to good things happening! Set your goals, write them down, tell your friends, tell a stranger. The best way to make them a reality is to believe in them. Your thoughts become things!! This song always makes me feel like I can do anything.
