If you’ve been following my adventures this summer, or longer, you’ve noticed my vast collection of sunnies and spectacles. I love glasses. They’re fashion for your face. I’ve been going to the cottage in Muskoka almost every weekend since the start of May. I love it. Spent heaps of time in the car listening to tunes. My friend who works at KANETIX told me about a contest for $500! Um, yeah? Too bad I didn’t stop by Cabana Pool Bar yesterday to see my boy JB and tell him about this great contest with his tour sponsor essence cosmetics! Thanks to everyone who entered the contest. On Twitter alone there were 125,923 estimated impressions from 62 Twitter mentions. Whoa mama! I drew a random name this morning and the winner has been contacted. If you are wondering why I didn’t announce them publicly it’s because I learned from my work at MuchMusic that the Beliebers can get mighty angry about winning/losing a chance to see their idol and I want to protect them from any chance of bullying. (BTW shame on yourselves if that’s you!) You’ll know who it is on Thursday when they are Tweeting from the concert! I can’t wait to see him in NYC. It’ll be great to get away for a few days and *hopefully* I’ll get that meet and greet the essence team mentioned! I will actually be my the third time I’ve seen him. I was the Social Media Manager of the MMVAs when he was there in 2010. NBD.  This is the dress I had made by Peach Berserk with his face on it along with other nominees.  Ahhh, memories… I’ll see if I can give away any more tickets from the tour. No promises! OK, I started this book today. Sitting on Queen Street in the shade waiting for (rain) someone boyfriend. Netflix sent me a signed copy from the author. Autograph is orange highlighter, naturally. It sounds good, the creator of Weeds made it. Scroll down if you want the prize only, winner gets the following.. PRIZE PS3 ($269 Future Shop) Six month Netflix Canada subscription ($48) Author signed copy of Orange Is The New Black book (Piper Kerman Priceless) I love Netflix and I watch heaps of moves. Last year they sent me a FIVE YEAR subscription and I am excited because more series are being produced for Netflix ONLY. [I was a subscriber before they contacted me.] WATCH THIS IT’S FUNNY Taryn Manning, Donna from That 70’s Show, Jason Biggs (American Pie),  and Janeane Garofalo. LOVE IT.  I like this story, from the first chapters, because I could be this person. So could you. It’s not that hard to get trapped in a cross-border love/drug smuggling scandal. I saw Broke Down Palace, I know how this works.   HOW TO WIN This is a totally made up contest – WHAT WOULD YOU DO TO SAVE ME IN JAIL? Tweet Basically this could happen to anyone, right?
