i fixed it

Remember about a month ago when someone was leaving nasty comments?ha! what a funny drawing

I found out who it was, someone I used to be friends with, and not surprisingly, a girl. Before I knew who was dishing out the haterate I made some changes to commenting and it was not working very nicely. It’s fixed now. I was testing with Mum yesterday and sorted it out.  (Thanks Mum, Love You).

I drew this picture using Imagination Cubed. You should try it, it’s fun.

bike helmet meets babe

I’ve been avoiding wearing/getting a helmet despite Mum’s efforts to convince me I need one. This is going to be hard for Mum to read the most I think…

this head needs some protection

Last night at the intersection where near my house, a 34 year old woman was  hit almost killed when a car struck her while biking. She was not wearing a helmet. The streets were closed off and as I rode by and saw the lonely bike standing beside the police car, my heart dropped. I took these photos on the way to meet Saul Colt for dinner. The accident happened while I was there and 3 blocks behind me in the photo.

I’m going to get a helmet within the next week. I will be photo-blogging it all the time. If you or your company wanna be my helmet head sponsor please email sponsorship@casiestewart.com

boston creme donut is one of my fav’s

Was talking a little ‘break’ from my hard work day at the office. Getting shit done. I surfed some favorite blogs and checked Raymi‘s then popped over to Phil‘s. Caught this fun one he took of us at the Island.  Jenie and I always do the head throw back when we laugh really hard. haha. That was a fun day.  I miss beach living and surfing. I miss the waves. lotion time

I’m taking a mini-vacay and visiting some friend in one of the oldest cities in the USA this weekend, BOSTON.  It’s my first time so I’m kinda excited. I’m excited for adventure and looking forward to airports. I love the airport. Inspires me to write and imagine stories.  If you know some stuff I should check out  or Boston hot spots, please tell me.

an ottawa citizen

Was hotter than I thought riding in today. It said 16 but after biking in pants and long sleeves it felt like 36. My hair is always wet when I leave and dry when I get there. It’s a pleasure having low maintenance hair that dries a perfect mess every time.  Wore my retainer, forgot a bra.

Last week I did an interview with a reporter from CanWest about a customer experience I had with a big brand and Twitter. I first told the story on my blog earlier this year when it happened. You can read the article in the Ottawa Citizen.

She quoted me saying “It shows the power of one voice,” says Stewart, a Toronto woman who describes Twitter as having “instant-messaging with the whole world.”

I hope you have a great day.

i forgot to tell you something

I loved seeing you last night. Your smile. Your laugh. Your arms. I like the way you make me feel. Happy. Your honesty is admired. I love you too much to let you just go. You make me happy and you also see right through my charade. I know you do. I like it but it scares me. More than anything. A scared-ness I like, I love. A scared that makes me love you even more because you, you are the only one who I let see the real me.  To me, you are the greatest. I wanted to tell you last night but I didn’t……I love you.
