It is SO BEAUTIFUL outside today. Can you believe it is ROctober and 19 dregees! Gah. It’s gonna be 21 tomorrow. This is gonna be an awesome weekend! I’m going to a clothing swap on Saturday. I’ve got a massive travel bag of clothes I pulled from my closet. If I’ve not worn it and it’s not vintage or seasonal, it’s GONE! The mass piles in my room are shameful. I feel to good to be giving them away, all the leftover clothes to to a charity organization.
On Sunday I’m this week’s guest on the Social Media Show on Perpetual Radio with Karim Kanji. We’re gonna be talking about New Twitter, the Virgin Contest and a few other exciting things. On Monday I’m filming a video with My City Lives about my favourite park in the city. So many exciting things happening!!
I love you Toronto! Tomorrow is the day Virgin America picks the Provocateur. I’ve been leading the whole competition and have more votes, youube views, FB friends, Twitter followers and blog readers then my competition. He’s a nice guy but I rekon I’m exactly what Virgin America & Richard Branson are looking for! Thank you all for being such good sports and rooting for me this whole time. It’s been going since JULY!

sometimes i don’t feel like it #1
sometimes i don’t feel like it. updating the internet. sharing my life. sometimes i want to just escape and be like one of those people who doesn’t even have a facebook. who calls their friends on the phone and hangs out in person with only a small group of friends. sometimes i just want to stop blogging and i think why, why do i share things i do and who really cares anyways? sometimes i just want to escape the internet and read more books and play outside. retreat to a cabin in the woods and smell fresh air and listen to the sounds of leaves blowing in the wind…
…and then…
someone sends me an email or a private message and tells me that i inspired them or they relate to me or that i helped them get through something. that’s when i snap out of not feeling like it and realize that i love it more than anything.
sharing makes me happy and i hope it does you too ♥

An artist is somebody who produces things that people don’t need to have.
The other day my house was a studio. We were filming something for later this month. I love being on camera. When I was younger Jenie and I used to talk about being grown up and what we wanted to do. She was always ready to be in front of the camera and I wanted to be behind the scenes.
I like the production of putting things together the organization, the directing. Times changed since then, I want to be on camera now. I always wanted to be well known for being good at something, I just never really knew what it was. Maybe I still don’t, but I will keep searching. I’m feeling a bit better today. I hope you feel good too 🙂

During Toronto Film Fest last month I saw Hawksley Workman at the Festival Music House perform this tune from his new album and I love it. Been listening over and over.
I’m feeling a little better today. If you’re feeling sick too, as I hear heaps of peeps are, try this Thyme Bath (instructions in this post). It seriously works like a CHARM! I went to bed early last night and slept till 1pm today. I reckon I’m more tired from a whirlwind September than actually sicky-sick. Fingers crossed for speedy recovery.
Quite missing Mum, we used to talk every day and now that she’s on her sailing adventure, we hardly talk anymore. Mum when you read this CALL ME. I LOVE YOU. Might go home to see Dad this weekend depending on how I’m feeling. I usually have a pretty fast bounce back from sickness. If I don’t get better soon I’ll be pretty annoyed + pissed off.
Ok, that’s all for now. Time for more soup 🙂

Not feeling so hot today. Don’t have time to be sick either. Waiting for the crew to ge here to film something for an upcoming campaign later this month. I can’t tell you just what yet but I’m the spokesperson. My first gig like this and I really hope for more. I love being on camera and promoting things I like. This week is less busy than all of September. Thank god. I can’t afford to burn out.
