Started using a new phone, Motorola DEFY from Telus. This thing is (almost) indestructible. The Motorola Defy™ with MOTOBLUR™ has a water-resistant, dustproof design, and a scratch-resistant display. Powered by Android 2.2 and available only from TELUS. I can also Create a Wi-Fi® hotspot to share internet with up to 8 devices (ipad, laptop). Camera is 5mp, only thing that would make it best phone yet would be front facing camera. I can swipe to text on the touchscreen which is pretty rad & surprisingly accurate. You know I’m hard on my gadgets and this phone is made for someone with a lifestyle like me. It’ made to be life proof. This is the commercial you may have seen on TV recently. Party looks fun eh.

I’m IN the parade this year for ShaSha Bread Co. Love their ginger snaps & everything else.  Gonna be amazing. I have to go early to learn our choreography for the show. First time actually being ON a float. Our routine has to do with water umbrellas and babes. Get ready for it! I’m stoked. Best Pride hair evahhh. Pride 2007 w/ my sis & Randy.  We got lots of media that year, global attention. Pride 2008 w/ parade leader & Kory. Omg we had so much fun this year. The lovely Ricardo. Look at my shoes here, WTF CASIE? Blackberry too. Eww. 2009 Pride was a real ‘party hard’ year. I had a crazy party animal BF at the time. Pink hair too. Saw Cindy Lauper last tear at Pride 2010. Hit the parade w/ my sis as usual. Saw Jazen & Erica. So tall, giants! Will see my sister today. Weee. We used to have buttons that say “I love my Gay sister”. This article ran last year after New Zealand Fashion Week about bloggers & how fashion’s front row is changing. I never did get a hard copy! The Tempo magazine is inside the NZ Herald that comes on weekends (I think!). One of my cousins got it delivered to her house. How awesome is that? Her Canadian cuz gracing the pages of her mail. Would love to get back to NZ this year for NZFW. Air NZ isn’t the travel partner so that puts a wee damper in getting there. I had the best time last year. See my coverage here. Saw “Joe Canadian” at a recent Molson event. He’s cute. I’d like to be in a Molson commercial too. I love being Canadian. I’m gonna watch the fireworks from my place tonight. There’s a big barge in the lake near Ontario Place where they set ’em off. Pretty rad. First time they did that was last year I think. We tried to figure out for days what the thing was doing in the lake. Lots of activity happening at Harbourfront Centre too. Reckon the baseball game is about to start cause the cover band just stopped. I’ve been listening from my place to their tunage all morning. Raise a glass today to our fabulous country and say Happy Canada Day! The True North strong and free! Oh Canada, oh oh oh Canada ♥ !
