Was home at a decent hour after Tweetgasm last night. Thanks for everyone who came out.  There was a neat art display in room 212 upstairs and Lynsie and some friends played with lazers!! We tried like crazy to make hearts, this one is the best we got. Good thing she is a photographer and knows how to work a camera. I would have never figured out how to make fancy light show photos. I know now! Yay. The mural in the little Twitter room was pretty rad too. Next Tweetgasm is late September, stay tuned for that. Quite looking forward to GenYTO on Thursday, over 235 people confirmed! New faces and old friends will make for a great time. I’m heading to Andrew Richard Designs shortly, Gap Inc. is having a launch party for their new online shopping site. Kinda crazy they didn’t have online shopping in Canada till now eh? Photos by Lynsie Roberts Remember last year when I posted about Givenchy Play? I kept the men’s cologne cause it smelled sooooo good. I still wear it sometimes. Last week a gift bag arrived from Givenchy with Play for Women. Lynsie and I decided to have a little fun the other day, she took these pix of me with the bottle.  The bottle is pretty neat ,it’s not made out of glass so good for taking on the road or keeping in your purse. You can smell it on myself or Lynsie before you can get it at the Bay next month. I love having my photo taken. It’s been a while since I actually modelled and it’s fun and not nearly as easy as it looks. I’ve  got a new vacuum arriving soon (hopefully this week). We’ll be doing some fake ads for that one too. Feeling some serious arthrisis today. Ankle and arm wrapped in castor oil compress. Mum would be proud. She’s still sailing away to Bahamas, they won’t get there until some time near winter. Feels like Fall today, air is cooler, sun is hiding. Summer is deff over. I’ve got a stay in bed all day kinda feeling but I can’t do that, I’ve got work to do. Feeling a bit overwhelmed. Need to send more info to NZFW for my visit. I can’t believe I am going to NZ.  Send stats to Wakestock too. This next year is gong to be really exciting. I hope to get to Europe and/or Asia (just throwin it out there). Haven’t seen my sis lately. Have an event tomorow night at Andrew Richard Designs to see the new stuff from Gap and the launch of online shopping. Happy to be making friends with Gap Inc., my first job was at a Gap store in 1996. I’m in love with Fall fashion and can’t wait to rock tights and jackets again. Boots, I miss wearing boots. I hardly wore open toes this summer, I’m just not that into it. Looks like we’re gonna have a big crowd at Gladstone for TweetgasmTO tonight. GenyTO Thursday will be good too. Love that we’re getting more people out to meet & greet each other. Listening to Yacht today, good band and chill for working.  I need hocus focus please. Go go gadget focus. Enjoy the day. You are the youngest today you will ever be. Don’t ever forget that 🙂 See you tonight.

hardly no service for two days + didn’t internet

But it was fun. Seeeeeeeee!!!!!!!! Exhausted from a whole day on the bus with the Bud gurlz. Sweet thangs they are. (HIIIIII to you if you are reading girls!)  Everyone was super nice and fun especially the security and event staff. One employee girl was bit snooty but I reckon it’s because I got an outfit and didn’t wear it. Yay me! I’m wearing it NOW as I BLOG. 🙂 Overall, we had a fun time. The food was pretty good too. Nice getting there before all the boys arrived on Friday. There were so many boys. About 150 winners each with a plus 1.  Watching them get off the bus and come down the gaultlet past the girls was charming. I missed the internet but not as much as I thought. Wilderness was pretty nice. Fresh air, stars, woodchips and fire. We stayed offsite at a house with full bathroom and tv which was great. Freaked out over chipmunks. I though I liked them, but no. They are cute from far but far from cute. Rascals, all nut eating and scurrying and stuff. They  need to have mobile charging stations at these type of things. The cabin stayers had no outlets. None!! I hardly had phone service and couldn’t checkin on foursquare.  Wahhhh. Chatted a dude about getting the mayorship but my phone was not playing nice so he got it. Learned for about $5,000 per carrier you can get a temp tower put up. That would be badass, wifi for everyone. WordPress mobile, twitter, facebook and posting via email to tumblr FTW. Talk nerdy to me. Lots happening this week, looking forward to it.  Tweetgasm at the Gladstone Melody Bar Monday night and GenYTO Thursday at the Tap House. Also The Virgin contest is over in 9 days…

It was weird not tweeting at all this weekend. I feel funny. Interesting & funny post about Gaga’s style I read here. I’m stoked for this week. I need to go to bed, I know I’m tired but I just can’t sleep.  Hate that. The amazing thing (or creepy?) about Facebook is finding all the people you met at an event right away. I bet everyone came home and checked FB. Posted my bloggy on the Budweiser FB page when I got home. Let the creeping begin. haha Saved having biz cards! Need to get some before NZFW for sure. I miss my stickers. They were the best hit ever. I like when  people ask ‘what do you blog about?’ Got that a bunch this weekend. Left my pillow at the house we stayed at, gonna miss that baby. There was a rose quartz crystal in the pillow case, that’s the one for love. I had them for years, the crystal and the pillow. It’s just a thing though, I’m over it.  Sabrina cleaned the house up so nice while I was gone. Totally wonderful to come home to. I’ve kinda cleaned my room. Love life. Later. ♥ Nice shirt.

I’m going international.

I’m going international.

First stop – Auckland, New Zealand for the 10th Anniversary of NZ Fashion Week! I am happy to be attending as a media VIP.  I’ll be covering the week’s event, meeting designers and talking with sponsors. Stoked. Photos by Lynsie Roberts Since I’ve been to NZ and AM a Kiwi I’ve grown up with New Zealnd influenced style this is REALLY exciting to me. They are always ahead of North American style over there. In 2004 I came back from down under wearing cowboy boots, skinny jeans with a mullet and a fedora. Two years later, skinny jeans on everyone. I can not WAIT to see how they Fashion Week in New Zealand. Style parade!! I leave for NZ  Sept. 18th for about 10 days. Will hopefully get to see some of my Kiwi cuzzies. I’ll be posting more about my adventure as it gets closer. Right now I’m near Napanee and there about 100 Bud Girls getting ready for Bud Camp right now. Have a great weekend!! TGIF! 🙂

By the time you read this I’ll be on a bus with Carly to Bud Camp with 30 Bud Girl. It’s near Napanee, where Avril is from. Doubt she’s in town. Probs rippin’ itr eal late with Brody Jenner somewhere getting a new tattoo. haha I really hope we’re in a cabin with showers and stuff. I’ve packed wellies and warm clothes with daisy dukes, bikini’s. Naturally. I’ve looked at a bunch of the activities and I don’t think it’s safe for me to do them. I’m not really into water sports or paintball. I see them as a way to get bruised up or broken. Remember last year when I fell 12 feet and fractured two bones in my back? Yeah. I do. I also hope that there is wifi. Pray for me! Have you seen this yet? I die. I love her. Lady Gaga RULES.
