Last week I walked in a fashion show! The event was at Cassius on King in collaboration with GotStyle, a longtime Toronto menswear staple, and featured vintage fur designs by my friend & fashion designer Evan Biddell.

Evan is known for his incredible playsuits and vintage pieces, and I wore one of his vintage furs, dramatic, cozy, and very main-character energy. I’ve modelled about Biddell before (see here!), so it felt extra special to be back on the runway.

There’s something electric about that pre-show energy: everyone getting ready together, final touches happening all at once. We lined up, waited our turn, and then suddenly the music started blaring! The lights were flashing, photographers crowded the runway, and I loved it all.

I did my walk with confidence, took my time, added a couple of twirls (because why not?), and soaked it all in. The crowd, the cameras, the music, pure adrenaline in the best way. At the end of the show, we all came back out together for the final waterfall walk.

After, I headed straight home, made myself a snack, and went to bed. I’ve been doing Dry January and stuck to it, which honestly felt just as good as the runway moment itself. Proof that you don’t need a wild after-party to fully enjoy a great night!

Huge thank-you to Evan for inviting me to be part of the show. I’m so grateful for the experience, the confidence boost, and the reminder of how much I love stepping into creative spaces like this. Here’s hoping there’s more modelling in my future! ✨
