I tried to make a cat daddy GIF to go with this post but failed ok. FAILED! I know there’s a photocopier in this one but the sun is so lovely at my desk when I arrive early. These are my new boots from CAT footwear. TBH I had no idea they made stylish girl boots and when I recieved the email to pick a pair, I was instantly in love. Beards and blazers, boys with long hair, fancy dresses, I can’t help but love the style of Ted Baker London. The first Canadian store in opens this weekend and I’ve been chosen as an Ambassador. I have such a heart on for this look, Royal country elegance. The Ted Baker Blog is Muse & Views, they’re on Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube. Creative, classy, their AW 12 campaign is ‘Survival of the Fittest’ and they say things like ‘be a glitter bug in Ted.’ I love it. Good brand, good branding. It’s a match made in heaven, romantic really. Stop by the store Friday-Sunday for the weekend long, picnic in the woods celebration. During store hours, don’t show up late for a bonfire! They’re giving away a $2,500 shopping spree, some other prizes, and treats. Things I love are this collared sweater, blazer, and printed jeans. Got some new jeans in the mail from Mavi Canada! THANKS GUYS. Told them on Twitter how my most fav jeans were Mavi’s in highschool. I worked at the mall and wore jeans all the time back then. I picked out Galaxy Blue and Snakeskin in the Serena style ‘perfect fit’. They actually fit perfect. The snakeskin ones are stretchier and than the blue ones. There’s lots of new technology in how denim is made these days and the new Mavi’s are more like pants (vs. jeans). I never forgot that Mavi means ‘denim’. A girl in my high school married a guy from Turkey (where they are made) and she was one of my style icons back then. (Props if anyone can guess who she was? Blonde hair, petite.) About a month ago I got this jacket from Faded Soul online. I love it. It’s got a cool shape, nice front pockets, has a big hood, and fits like a poncho. I creeped online to learn it’s from European brand Napajuri. They have a really cute campaign with a couple travelling across Europe in the clothes. People get to vote on what they do on the journey. I want to BE IN this campaign. It’s so cute. She’s blonde too. I’ve been asked where I got it so I checked and there are still more! The site is fadedsoul.com and you can find it here. Mine is a size small. I think there might be a fur hood to add from what I see in photos. Hat H&M, pants Yoga Jeans from ShopGirls, boots Sam Edelman, bag Nella Bella Faded Soul is a new Canadian internet store that is owned by a friend of a friend. They have heaps of stuff for guys and girls. They’re on Facebook and Twitter too. Brock ordered some sweet John Varvatos shoes and posted photos here. I was immediatley attracted to this other brand I’d never heard of called ‘Blondes make Better T-Shirts’. The shirts are, well, blonde and fun. I got the ‘Skinny’ and ‘Pull’. Tres cute. Last week I was sent this striped ballet shrug from Ch*arms. I wasn’t sure what was arriving but once opened the package I knew these were gonna come in handy. I also got set of sleeves that velcro to your bra strap for under short sleeve shirts. I wish I thought of this! They retail for $28 and can be purchased online at ch-armz.com.
