The other day at lunch, I went to the park. I got my first summer street meat and sat in the grass. It was warm and sunny and it felt like heaven. I laid down in the grass and looked up at the sky and dreamed of far away places. It was the first day of wearing bare legs too. I love summer. I love summer. I love summer. Did I tell you I loved summer and park hangs? Cause I do.

View PostI’ve always wanted to go, since I was little. I remmeber watching old movies with the girls serving on rollerskates and the classic cars lined up in rows. Finally happened last night… I wore an vintage dress and brought a cardigan, felt kinda schooley. We were the only ones in an old car, 1960 Desoto, baby blue. We sat in the back, there’s no seatbelts and it’s like a couch back there. It was perfect. You’re not supposed to bring alcohol but everyone does. It would probably help if they had the bar open, they didn’t. You tune into the radio station as the movie starts to play. It felt like a movie. I watched Transformers, didn’t like it. That Fox is mighty sexy though. The drive-in is at Polson Pier and they play two movies each night. It’s open on weekends and you can take a whole car load of people on Sunday’s for only $25. That’s a pretty good deal.
View PostI had an awesome weekend. I’m digging that I’m not making myself feel like I have to blog on the weekend. Now that it’s springy and warm outside I want to get out and enjoy it. Really, really gotta get my bike on the road. I’m wearing open toed shoes today. The Gladiators. Today is Samuel Morse birthday and Google’s logo is in Morse code. I dig it. I’ve thought about getting a poem I wrote tattooed in Morse code. I like the way it looks.Cara and I went to Frock Swap on Saturday afternoon near Kensington. It was lovely. I snagged a few nice dresses. I’m lucky that so many vintage dresses are mini and they fit me just right. I always find a few jems. I wore these Pooh’s on my head while I was there. I liked them, they made me feel cool. I wore a strapless long dress tho show the shoulders to the sun. They got some love for sure. I also picked up a few new pairs of glasses. Necessary to have about a zillion pairs. I lose/break a few each year and I’ve got a drawer full of backups. Happy that the sun came out to play.
View PostI can see Lake Ontario from my window and let me tell you, it looks damn cold ,nearly frozen. I was feeling quite chilly myself and went for a dip in my pool. The water was surprisingly warm and since it is enclosed in glass, the sun was shining brightly. Perfect for a lazy Sunday! Thanks to American Apparel for the suit. It’s evening and I’m watching Thomas Crown Affair on FOX. God, I love this movie. It just started!! Woo Hoo!
