CASIE, HOW ARE YOU USING SPOTIFY IN CANADA?

Clearly people and interested! I’ve had heaps and heaps of questions about how I am using Spotify in Canada the last few weeks. I was in the USA when Klout gave “influencers” a Klout perk last month. Everyone was like “WTF we can’t use our code in Canada, wahhhh, wahhhh”. I signed up thinking “I better get on this while I’m here since I go home in a few days blah blah blah”. When I got home, IT STILL WORKED. OMFG HEAD EXPLODE, MIND BLOWING. That’s how I have Spotify. You can get it too, get curious and look it up yo! Use a proxy, (If you want to go overkill try one made for accessing Piratebay, that’ll work really well) Go to the USA and sign up there Ask a friend online or offline to sign up an account for you I’ve been totally loving it. Music is filling my house and the playlists are introducing me to beautiful sounds I’ve never heard before. One of my friends is an aspiring artist and she has a few songs coming out on Spotify soon so I cannot wait to give them a listen! She also told me that because the number of streams your tracks get is so important these days, she has considered buying some Spotify plays from the Get Fans website here: https://getfans.io/buy-spotify-plays. The music industry has always been very competitive, so it makes sense that people are looking for ways to give their songs a boost. Anyway, here’s a sneak peek of what my Spotify account looks like. some things i love (right now)

Sun on the face & warm air when I roll outta bed and go to balcony. First thing I do is check phone, get up, check computer, grab camera, go outside. The Lake, the Airport, the many people on their travels to work. This vintage Lion Breweries New Zealand Olympic Team shirt that was Mum’s. Buckler Men’s undies. SO COMFY (even if you don’t have a package to fill them out but probably more comfy if you do). Have been using some really great products lately and figured it was about time I share with you. I always test things out for a before I tell you about them and I only talk about what I like [DISCLAIMER]. You’ll notice I enjoy products that don’t have too much scent, are clean feeling & soft on the skin. L-R: Dermaglow Oil Free Cleanser – soft on face, gentle, hardly no scent Dermaglow Daily Moisturizing Lotion – soft, no smell, clean feeling Dermaglow Wringle Release Serum – see how young I look? Yeah. Use it all the time. Goldwell Ultra Volume Leave-In Boost Spray – good volume, doesn’t make hair icky or greasy Cheeky Monkey Nailpolish in Party Whore – Yes, that’s the real name. Colour is my fav! Redken UV Body Rescue – Stuff is amazing is you love sun like me. Treats skin post tanning & has a soft glistening glitter. Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Antiseptic Cream – MOSQUITO BITES. I hate them. Lotion is cool & soothing w/ tingle. Givenchy Play – Smell is soft, feminine & good for summer. Bottle is metal so great for travel, throwing in purse etc. Givenchy Blush Gelee – Hot pink jelly blusy, one colour for all skin tones. First blush I’ve used on regular. The Body Shop Body Butter Duo in Vanilla…

the good ol’ irish goodbye

Getting pretty good at it. Pulled another last night before the  Notable Chilean Wine tasting was over. Keri is hilarious. Are you following her? You should. I love the Spoke Club. Such good food last night.  There was scallops & bacon, lamb,  piles of meat, cheese, bite size burgers. Lots of wine too. I’m not the wine drinker I used to be. I can do like two glasses only. I used to plow through a bottle no problem. I also used to arrive late/stay late  to parties all the time. Last night we arrived early, first. I am clearly getting older. I drink less these days too. The ‘sneak out of the party’ move is my new ‘fashionably late’. Stay tuned this summer, it might happen to you 😛

Fashion Connect Toronto – #FCTO

Got there early & was hoping for a packed house. Started to fill up FAST! View from the stage is fun. Love taking these pano shots. For info in the panelists and the event see xconnectto.com. Follow the peeps on Twitter here: @soniyamonga @theflist @jumaonline @aditya8020 @shopabletv @wearethirdocean. My shoes: Aldo. Outfit was from Bicyclette, posted about it yesterday if you missed it. I was tweeting DURING the panel replying to people. MHP was like “who is tweeting for Casie”. Nobody tweets for me! (reminded of ‘nobody puts baby in a corner’ for some reason) Glasses from friends at Rightsleeve. I am a SUPER HERO: Super Blogger/Lady Blogga. Hey LEESA! Super cute. We blondes get along so well. Told everyone to say HI! HI FRIENDS! Skipped to the loo and met this beautiful lady named Jean. I imagine I will be kinda like her when I grow up (if I ever do). Corner. Love the many settings on this Olympus camera (XZ-1 is my new party cam). I fell back on the step ofter I took this shot, didn’t see it. Bruised my booty too.
