tumblr, twitter, formspring day

This kinda reminds me of Dad. Posted it on Tumblr earlier today. My dad is so cool, he’s got tattoos and muscles.  He used to be jacked when I was young and he also had a huge beard.

Been a while since I saw Daddio. DAD IF YOU READ THIS I MISS YOUR FACE OK! I just saw someone tweet about trampoline. Did you know my Dad was a Tramp Coach? Yeah, trampoline.

I tweeted a bunch today and also formspringed. Did you know YOU CAN ASK ME ANYTHING? Go, amuse me please. I’ve answered 427 so far, and counting.

My sista, Jenie is coming ova tonight too. Hellz yeah. Wonderful day. Well, except the fact that today I’m the stinky kid so I have to keep my arms down and sweater on. Fahk, happens to us all once in a while.

I’m off to Peach Berserk to reveal the WINNER in the dress design contest for school kids. They just rung me to say the place is full of girls waiting to know. Young ladies,  here I come with hopes to inspire you!

Ok. bye. Gotta run, can’t make all these kiddios wait!

i have been in love with her for 365 outfits

Ever since I first saw her last year, I was in love. This little Sheena from NY has great style and likes to do nice things like raise money for kids to go to school. She wore the same dress (7 dresses/same style) for 355 days and has 10 days to go.

I’ve been secretly, or not so secretly in love with her the whole time. Check ‘er out.

Remember May 1st 2009? And the days since? Sheena’s yearlong journey is now coming to a close. Through the high times and low, holidays, birthdays, and trips abroad, there’s been one constant… or actually two. This is the story of a girl and her little black dress.

“you wouldn’t know her; but her name is Casie Stewart”

This is my outfit today, feeling kinda Mickey Mouse. Screen printed this dress with my name on it last year, found it in the mounting clothes closet and decided to let it come out and play.

Have an after work date with My City Lives to film some of the awesome stuff around my hood from MuchMusic to condo city by the water. There’s lots a neat stuff in that little 1.4 KM (thanks to the Cardio Trainer on my phone I know just how far it is).

Somebody tossed this sign up yesterday and I bet it’s JUST the beginning. The G20 is just around the corner from my place at the MTCC.  It’s the same weekend as PRIDE and there’s so many security things they need to take care of. Gonna be nuts in my hood when this thing happens. All these world leaders kickin’ it and heaps of raging homo + lezbo’s showing their love for life. Sounds like a fun time if ya ask me. Haha.

Got this email the other day. Liked it.

To: “Casie Stewart”

Well I’m not at the “guru” or as I call it “casie stewart” level yet.

But funny story; I was at a Charity event a few weeks ago. This girl comes up to me and wants to take a picture of me and the people I was with for her blog.

I jokingly tell her “I don’t do blogs” which kind of takes her a back.

I tell her I was just joking and that I actually have a good friend who writes a blog and has been very successful with it.

She says that’s great and that hers is very new as she is a student at George Brown or Humber or something. I can’t remember.

So she asks me who I know in the blog space. I stupidly say “you wouldn’t know her; but her name is Casie Stewart”

Girl freaks out. Can’t believe I know Casie Stewart. Literally freaks out talking about how she follows you on twitter and how you are the voice of Much and MTV and how she loves your style.

Funniest thing I’ve ever seen. So then she asks me if she sent you a note and said she met me would you talk to her???? Can you believe it??? What are you like the Lady GaGa of bloggers??

I almost died. Anyway I thought it was a funny story that would make you laugh.

If you are this girl, please contact me.  I’d like to meet you.  I like to call this shot, GaGa Monster face.

Have a great day!

happy 420 :)

This is my highest viewed video on youtube & also one of the oldest July 03, 2006. Some friends, Jenie and I were at Queens Park in Toronto after the Marijuana March and at 4:20pm there were 20,000 people celebrating together! Talk about up in smoke.

Every year Hot Box Cafe had a big ol’ celebration party.  I remember the dancing girls last year and this year, Little Miss Raymi is performing with her burlesque troop. In high school I was a Hot Box girl in Guys & Dolls, same kinda thing. Hot!

Looking forward to it. Puff puff pass 🙂

feelin’ just peachy baby

Last night was the final judging for Peach Berserk‘s dress design contest and boy was it fun! Wine and cheezies on the counter with dozens of designs drawn by students across North America.

These pix look really clear on my camera but for some reason when I upload them using WP Mobile they look kinda fuzzy. Please disregard!

These are the other two judges from HOAX Couture. We all agreed on the winner and pretty much picked the same top 5 without even knowing.

I loved going through them and seeing all the patterns and designs these kids came up with. If yo0u’ve never been to the shop you should pop by, it’s a burst of colour and art. Check out these tools hammers + blowdryers. Cute.

This is where the magic happens.

Kingi designed this little dress back in 1994.  Love it.
