Great weekend home at Dad’s. Check out my first car he built for us:
Dad built this for Jenie and I when we were kids. Hot pink with flames, yeah he did. He is rad my Dad. He’s building this one for himself right now called a Rat Rod.
Those ones keep the rusty-ness. It’s gonna be a convertible and the top is chopped so the windshield/windows are real small. See here:
He build this go cart for us when we were kids too. Didn’t have a motor but lemme tell you, Jenie & I used to have a field day pushing each other around in this baby. The kids on our block loved it too. We were cool 🙂
I had a really great childhood. We used to spend heaps of time in the garage making stuff and pretending to make stuff with Dad. This firetruck is a classic too. Dad’s got three cars in his garage them a bunch more in the shop he’s working for other people.
White wall tires are my fav. I would really love a handsome man to take me on a date in his hot rod. Key to my heart right there. Ha! Coming back to the city this afternoon with my sis. Need to do heaps of work tomorrow. I love work though, considering it’s all internet and social media, I couldn’t be happier. No pictures of me in my post today. I look like a bum and I like it. We’re watching Shutter Island and my sis is all like “hurry up”. Oh internet, I love you so.
