crazy going slowly am i

Sometimes I just can’t seem to relax. My mind races with a hundred thousand thoughts at a time and I lose my concentration and have no focus. I think there’s a good chance it might have to do with how much time I spend on the Internet soaking up information. My daily intake of news, facts, and randomness is very high. I constantly multitask and when I’m not on the Internet I have blackberry that receives three different emails, Blackberry Messenger and has wireless access.  I’m addicted to information. I’m very creative. My mind never stops.june 16 032

I think back to learning about entrepreneurs and how the really successful ones work their asses off.  That’s what you gotta do to get anywhere. I’ve been so busy lately and but not just going-places-busy, thoughts-process-busy. It’s really good and I like it but sometimes it gives me knots in my stomach and I feel like I’m going to puke. That’s how I felt this morning. I got up extra early so I could get to the office and check some things off my list before everyone else got in. The ride in was nice and my bike makes me feel free. I managed to get a bit ahead but I’ve still got a full day staring me in the face. Lunch meeting, after work meeting, concert, opening party, then finally bed. It’s days like this I sing the song from Sharon Lois and Bram and think it’s OK, you’re gonna be OK. It’s just another day. june 16 031-1

feel the same way. totally the same. it seems like with our huge minds, we need more than one thing to keep us interessted or in tuned with the world. personally i have a few things on the go right now and i feel so much more alive than having a regular 9-5 and constantly doing the same thing day in and day out.

So many times I wish I could work on my own projects and leave the 9-5. I don't know how to make leap. I'm scared I think. Good for you.

Stop doing loads of narcotics and then maybe your feeble mind will settle down and you'll have less anxiety attacks.

Without doing the scientific research, I think both of these pictures are about the prettiest I have seen you.

I know what your'e talking about with the multi-tasking thing. I def. check too much internet stuff throughout the day, and it's almost as if I'm just waiting for that next big burst of inspiration to come around.

I used to get really bothered by it, thinking that I might get so much more done or be further ahead if I didn't spend so much time on the net. But only recently I came to peace with the fact that I LOVE the internet. I love the shit about it, I love the promise of it, I love what it represents, and I want to move as much of my business online as I can. No more self hate from me about the internet.

This lifestyle is true for many of us that have hands in many different cookie jars per say. I know I have that knotty feeling in my stomach probably 2-3 times a week when I think about deadlines and projects I'm involved in. I think we're a generation that has a task addiction, that could be a good thing, could be a bad thing. At a fundamental level, since there's so much going on in the city, especially online with these social networks, maybe its hard to keep your hands off the cookie jars?

ps. can i have a poster size of that first photo?
