Welcome to BMC Labs on the 4th floor at the TIFF Bell Lightbox. Picked up my POD on Sunday. It’s red. I’m not sure why? Most are white. This whole Body Mind Change things is getting weirder and weirder. I’m not really sure what is going on anymore. Heading back there next weekend for the ‘POD implantation’. I’m not even sure what that means either. The place is pretty neat though. Being part of the Cronenberg project is quite interesting. 3D Printers in the Lab Turns out I’m a premiere host for POD Round 1. We’ll find out what that REALLY means on Feb. 6th! Until then… Crazy. The Weekend was Made for Lovers
Had a lovely sunday afternoon w/ Sean. Went to the TIFF Bell Lightbox. Had a nice lunch at the Dog & Bear on Queen. This is the “stop taking my photo” face. Ha, anyone who has dated a blogger just has to deal with certain things like taking their photo, having their photo taken, or holding their stuff. Love you for it though! The tacos at Dog & Bear are sooooo good. The whole menu is splendid TBH. Walked Otis, the much loved Italian Greyhound at the 1188 Studio. Sometimes I think a puppy would be ok to have but then I walk someone else’s dog and it dog slobbers on me, gets hair on my outfit, or goes to the bathroom on the floor and I take it all back. No dog for me. Deff no cats either! Next weekend we head up North for 5 days of snow hills, spas, and our very own two bedroom suite at Blue Mountain. It’s a winter min-break just like Bridget and Marc Darcy! Except snowboarding and none of the other people lol. Can’t wait! This is my life in a blog it is art, in many forms all at the SAME TIME. Love poems, love and poems. I have written so many poems over the years, it’s really about time to publish a second book. Making Memories
Over the last six months I’ve been learning how to use a my first DSLR through my partnership with Canon Canada. As one of 5 official Canon Blogtography Ambassadors I’ve learned how to take portraits, shoot a runway, properly focus, shoot in different lighting, and most importantly the beauty of photos taken with a Canon Digital SLR camera. In our last session of 2013 we sat down for dinner at The Drake Hotel with our reps from Canon and Edelman Toronto. In effort to help us step up our photo game one more level, they hooked us each up with new printers (yes, plural!) AND gave us each a framed print of one of our own photos. It was like Oprah, “You get a printer and you get a printer!”. We all felt super touched when they revealed our gorgeous gallery style photos, printed from the exact printer we were just given.
