Thankful to Have You in My Life

We went to have lunch with Dad then dinner with Mum in Cambridge, Ontario. The leaves are all changing and the are was warm and fresh. We spaced out the family time with a lovely walk in the park along the boardwalk where I used to go as a kid. Still feeling so full and we’ve got a fridge topped with leftovers. I reckon it’s time for a diet! I really love this time of year. Change is good. I’m ready for change. Have a big adventure coming up near the holidays. Can’t wait to share those details with you soon! Hope your week is off to a great start. We’ve only got three days till the weekend! Well, after today 🙂 Make them count! <3 CASIE Buy Soma Buy Strattera Buy Trazodone Buy Ventolin

i’d like a ride in a little deuce coupe

Happy it’s Friday, I mean Thursday. Nothing much planned for the weekend because I would really like to rest and be lazy and stay at home and show my TV some TLC. Saw these guys looking pretty in the sunshine on the way to work. When I was little my Dad had a hot rod shop called ‘Toys for Boys‘. That site is someone else in NSW, Australia but you get it. His shop was B.I. (Before Internet). He made some of the best hot rods around and worked with the now late Boyd Cottington. Dad also worked with the Horton team at Horton Street Rod & Parts in Breslau. Today’s sweatshirt features one of Dad‘s 32’s. I’m pretty sure Mum used to wear it.

sunday boshketball game

Today was rainy but it cleared up after about 1pm. Mum and I walked over to the ACC to see the ball game. Jenie was dancing and we were excited to see her. I don’t really watch any sports as a hobby. I brought my neon pastels to the Raptors game with my Moloeskine and drew some bright stuff. It was fun. So much energy there, it was electric. Game was exciting, I enjoyed it. Hanging with the fams is really fun. Mum and Jenie & James.

canadian family you say, ma?

I just had a long chat with Mum who just returned from New Zealand. I miss it. I want to go back there so bad. She told me a story about the very tip of the North Island called Cape Reinga. It is so very beautiful. She said that New Zelander’s (The Kiwi’s!) are very creative and they place much of attention & value on the arts and artsy things. That makes me feel awesome.

riverside adventure

When I was home this weekend I went on an adventure in Riverside Park. The Grand River was higher than normal and most of the park interior was flooded. Bonga and I set off in to the forest. It was not long before we found ourselves trapped in the middle of melting ground, mud, ice and marsh. It was time to conquer the elements. The sun was shining bright giving us super powers to take on the cold. Not even the high flowing river could hold us back. I was dressed to lead the pack with my warm jacket and Hunter Wellies. We grabbed walking sticks to ensure we knew exactly if the ground was hard or soft and to make it easier to jump over stuff. This also helped in breaking up the ice on the boardwalk. It was really fun.
