I’m a big fan if any type of dance party and especially improv dance parties. Might you recall the subway dance party? I’ve seen this video along with various others from improv groups around the world. This one, a T-Mobile commercial was filmed at Liverpool Station. It’s my favorite. View PostLast night I strolled over to Steam Whistle to meet some friends. I arrived late, extremely late considering they opened at 5pm to start the party and most people were already totally wasted. It was a good time! I always have fun out, unless I lose something like my phone, ipod, camera, or dignity really. I was pleasantly surprised to run into Tweeps Andrew Lane & Kurt Gooden. It’s rad to meet the Tweeps offline. Makes me feel nerdy and cute. I like it. These drunky drunky dudes below did a lovely pose for moi. Ben in the middle said he blogs too which is also rad. I was pretty happy to find a loonie as you can see. That’s like a hundred days good luck. Day #1 – right on. So far so good! Good things come to good people. Dear Kharma, Please make hundreds stick to my shoes next time. Met the band Tiny Danza. They’re big a jazz hip hop fusion band and a big deal in Korea. They are also on Twitter. It is called Wordle. I made this Wordle of my blog’s first page to get an idea of what my blog might be really about. This is the realest and truest thing. This shows you what matters most to me. View PostThis has been floating around Facebook since January. I figured since I’ve been tagged by a ton of friends it is about time I shared 25 random facts about me. The rules go as follows: Once you’ve been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. Blah, blah, blah… Here we go: I was born in Canada to New Zealand parents and have dual citizenship (Canadian/New Zealand). I danced ballet, tap and jazz as a kid and completed in competitions across Ontario as well as Showstopper in NY & Myrtle Beach, SC. I was 5 with fake lashes and red lipstick! I wrote a book and became a published Canadian Author at 14. It was titled Jeans: An Anthology of Poetry and Prose. The Toronto Star wrote and article about me titled “Push Over Keats, Teen Muse Steps Ahead“. I went to Uni in Australia and lived at Bondi Beach. It was the best year because I learned the most about myself and WHO I really am. I hate scary movies. I get queezy and I don’t like to put bad images in my head. I’m crazy enough already! I still have all my Barbies and their vintage outfits. I hope to get them made in my size one day. I have a Green Belt in Tae Know Do and once knocked out a boy (Note: James Roszell) in grade 8 at school. View PostIt was only January 9, 2009 that I wrote a post titled “hey universe, I need a new camera“. It is amazing what you can do if you set your mind to it. The power of positive thought baby! Special thanks to everyone that voted for me and joined Daily Challenge. It was a close race and as I wanted, I came in second place, scoring me the jazzy new flippy video camera. “This camera is not only super sleek and sexy but was also named “one of the most significant electronic products of the year” by the New York Times and if that wasn’t enough the makers of The Flip are have committed to give away 1,000,000 Flip Video camcorders to qualified nonprofits by 2012.
