Make Your Skin Glow w/ Dermalogica’s Little Grey Pass

For the past few months I’ve been visiting spas around the city that use Dermalogica’s professional line of products and getting facials with their Little Grey Pass program. I was invited to be an ambassador for Dermalogica and to share my experience with you. My first Dermalogica facial was in the middle of winter (March) and my skin was so dry and dull. Since then, I’ve switched to a heavier moisturizer and added vitamins & toner to my routine. A few of my fav items below! Dermalogica’s Little Grey pass is a great way to treat yourself and improve your skin. My skin has really improved, it’s more radiant and I find myself wearing less makeup. How to Get on the Little Grey Pass train: Register at greypass.dermalogica.ca (open to Toronto + Vancouver) Call a Little Grey Skincare Centre listed on your pass (once you get it of course!) Visit spa & purchase a 60 min spa facial Get  stamps & receive products like a full size Pre-Cleanse (love this product!) The more stamps, the more goodies for you! Share your experience on social by tagging @dermalogicaCDN + #LittleGreyPass. Have great skin! (The most important part!) A few of my favs @DermalogicaCDN. Have you gotten a #LittleGreyPass yet? Easy as 1, 2, 3! Non-Permanent Hair Colour

Found this Colorsmash Hair Shadow in a gift bag from NXNE the other day so I’m putting it to good use.  You never know what you’ll find in those things! I love hair chalk but  find it quite messy and it makes my hair dry. I may have seen this easy non-permanent hair colour on Pinterest or made it up one day, I can’t remember. Since I have blonde hair, it’s really easy to tint but I don’t like to stick with one shade too long. Here’s my recipe for adding some sass to your hair without drying or damaging it. 1. Shave off some chalk into a small bowl and mix w/ conditioner. Use a knife or other tool you find around. Something that will make it into a power. It might stain so don’t use the good muddler or marble mortar and pestle from the kitchen.  If you don’t have hair chalk you can use artist chalk from any art store (don’t use pastel or sidewalk chalk). Mix with any conditioner in a plastic container/bowl. 2. Mix the paste and put on your hair. To make the colour more intense/last a bit longer longer you can wrap your hair saran wrap to add heat. Don’t wrap your face. The actual colour of your hair will not be this dark. DNO’T FREAK OUT. Leave on for 10-30 min. 3. Rinse out. Most of the colour will go down the drain. This can be kinda messy. Use a dark towel. Once you blow dry you’ll have a dreamy light tint to your hair. VOILA! I’ve tried this with just abut every shade/brand of chalk (Kevin Murphy, professional brands, art store materials) and they all wash out in in 1-2 days. This one time I left saran wrap on with purple chalk-conditioner and the tint lasted 4 days before washing out completely. Seal…

where’s the beach?

I’m stoked that the weather is warming up, finally! The sunshine was beauty this morning as I snapped this photo of my favorite phallic structure in the world. I’ve also been getting ready for bikini season and trimmed up. I posted in January that I was getting ready to have a fit and healthy bod for summer. I got a message from TOsunshinegirl on Twitter that they would love to have me grace the pages again. I reckon I just might do it!

the batch in new zealand. you don’t say?

I’m watching the Bachelor, well listening to it while I do things around the house. Anyhow, one of the destinations for the show that is on next episode is New Zealand. Looks to me like they are in the beautiful and warm North Island where they take a helicopter flight over the massive hill ranges followed by a bungy jump, Possibly in Taupo? I watched Dad bungy jump there when I was 12. I wanted to do it so bad. You had to be 13. I’m still upset about it. Most of my family lives in New Zealand and they are cool. I have Canadian & New Zealand citizenship which is very lucky, thanks to Mum & Dad!! If you are looking for the best trip of your life and a way to show yourself how awake and alive you are, get moving and plan a trip to the Land of Plenty!!
