And by numbers… I mean Pemberton & Plashkes, the creators of Art Battle. Their numbered shirts equal seventeen. Eight is my fav number, I have one tattooed on my right arm. Competitive painting for the WIN. Paint pr0n. THIS is how you do event shirts. These babies were all up for grabs. Painted that night, silent auction. I really liked this one. Bid was $150, I didn’t go for it. Jack will always be in our thoughts. The ones without bids are DESTROYED. See video here. Hello new friend blog fan, Twitter peep. (Please tell me your Twitter if/when you see this!) Queen West art hipster types in full force. You can tell there are deep thoughts going on here and I like it. Smart, arty & handsome. David & his is final painting. “Let’s destroy some paintings” Paint on the clothes is a good style I reckon.   Maybe some for me next time? I like to paint too. Some serious talent at these things. Shot another two rolls for Lomography Mag’s Lomo Amigo project. These are all that turned out. I’ve got another roll done and I hope more turned out. I’m gonna pop by the store and get some tips before I have another go. Some of these are rad. Especially love the ones from my balcony. Beerfest.

Stopped by Beerfest Thursday for the media preview. Omg there was so much food & drink to be had. This was cookin’ in the grill house. Get grub there. My big party day is tomorrow at Beerfest. We’ve got an awesome crew and the Social Lounge is where we’ll be. Planning to walk there for about 1pm and drink slow & steady all afternoon. Shrimp wrapped in bacon, dipped in something delish & battered in crushed chips. This steak was gently placed on top of a butter infused baked potato. Divine. Practically licked the plate, see! Thanks Labatt. After I chowed down I biked to see the Arkells live in the parking lot by the SOHO. How cute is singer? Heaps of peeps in the crowd. I was up front in media area where it wasn’t crowded. Thanks Samsung. KARINE from MTL! Friends were yelling to me from top of the balcony up there but I didn’t know that until I checked Twitter. I can see my house. Have I told you how much I LOVE living downtown? This guy was a babe too. This guy was ________. Beige? Missed The Midway State. All hail the HAILWOOD tights copied by H&M. Knew this was coming. Remember me rocking this style last year? NZ Designer Adrian Hailwood gifted me his signature & fab two toned tights last year at NZFW. Thanks Adrian! NZ has always been ahead of style in Canada. Hailwood NZ. I see boring. Oooh organic, zzzzzzzzz. Not boring! Sammy & I went biking. These neon bikes are all over the city now. City wide art project of awesome. I love this city. <3

Got a different perspective on Toronto’s famous “Graffiti Alley” this weekend. If you don’t know it, YOU ARE CRAZY. It’s famous and awesome and can be found near Queen/Spadina, south side back alley. Learned history of graffiti, vocabulary and styles.  Someone covered the Banksy on Hotel Ocho. Talked about the controversy around graffiti in our city.  Lots of it.  One of the pieces in my video is “Blob Ford”. SO many cool ones. Good artists. Thanks to Tour Guys & Jaunt.ca for the tour. Nice to get to0 know a little more about Toronto.  Good collection of Toronto street art here. I like this one, obvs. haha I was postered on Queen Street a few years back by Toronto Poster Boy.  They were big & bright, done with wheat paste. So many photos from last night. Was a great time. Stayed at the SoHo with about 30 other writers, & notables for a staycation with jaunt.ca. It was really fun. Thanks to the Jaunt team for spoiling us. You’re great. First time staying there. Rooms are nice and so is the service. Thank you. Our night started with cocktails & deserts. Tasty treats. Mostly ate fruit & strawberries dipped in white or spicy dark chocolate. Please adopt me SoHo. I want to live in you. Limos to the gallery. Hi kids. Welcome to Neubacher Shore Contemporary for a private gallery tour. Cute outfit. Nice to hang out with Julian & Sam. Bonga calls me Sam too.  Samuel. Nice dress SNP. Kitty matched Julian. Long skirt love. I’d like to own a gallery when I grow up. Interactive. Went for dinner after this. It was so many courses. Save that for another day!
