What style does everyone love? FREESTYLE. Ladies & gentlemen I am proud to present a new contest series starting today that will take place on Fridays.  Freestyle Friday used to be a club night at Metropolis in Kitchener that was all ages. I owned that place in the 90’s. Anyone remember it? Anyhoo, it goes a little somethin’ like this, each Friday I’ll post a FF contest, aka. Freestyle Friday, you enter, winner is chosen Monday. This week I’ve got a shiny new Android phone from Motorola Canada. Value of phone is approx $400 and it is locked to Rogers. Contest is open to anyone in Canada. You guys know I’m a big fan of Android. I’ve been using Motorola phones for almost a year now and I’m diggin it. The Motoblur feature is cool but I don’t use it much. I find the 5MP camera to be really good.  I use Seesmic for Twitter and some of my fav apps are Google Sky View, Retro Camera, Foursquare, FX Camera and WordPress. I find it really easy to blog from my phone too. Here are some of the commercial gettin’ hype for today’s game on Mashable. I’m off to fly around the city in a helicopter before planting myself on a couch/at a bar to watch the commercials & halftime show for today’s game. Rumor has it Go Daddy (my host!) is bringing some sexy. Doritos always have something creative. I reckon Coors Lite or Bud Lite will have something funny. This was JUST released a couple hours ago. Ha! Hate when this happens…. guess we’ll find out WHAT happened. This one surely will NOT make it to Canada. Hate that we get stuffed on the good ads. Where can Canada peeps watch the US version of the big ‘Bowl? How many commercials during the super bowl will have social media accounts on screen? As a percentage. Includes logo (twitter/facebook), audio or links. Take your bets. Winner wins something awesome. 😛

weather outside is frightful but you are so delightful

Took me a day to relax and get in vacation mode… First morning I woke up early, grabbed a Starbucks and went down to the beach with Andy. This is the vacation 2010 party song I was talking about. If you have gone on vacation since August or are going on vacation near Caribean, you will hear this. [iframe id=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/7zp1TbLFPp8″] It was magical. When I hear it I feel WARM. You will too. Love the beautiful flowers when you visit an island. Puerto Rico is really nice. I like visiting the grocery store when I travel. Best when it’s in another language, there’s always stuff I’ve never seen before. I was quite suprised how ‘American’ Puerto Rico is. I feel like staying on vacation so I am going to. Cranked the heat in our place and it is super sunny, the lake is all sparkley. It’s a slice of heaven. Keeping that island state of mind. Did you see today’s contest? Leaving Boston today and heading home to my fav city for the holidays. I’ve never really worn ear warmers (muffs?) before, but the other day it was snowing/cold and I didn’t want to ruin my hair. So, I took the 180s I goti n the mail out for a spin. My beautiful yellow leather bag is by Canadian designer Nella Bella. I wasn’t sure at first if they were my thing but they’re cute and they kept my ears super warm. The ‘not ruining my hair part’ was also quite important. I find it pretty rad that they have ones like this WITH  earphones. I need those. I have another pair that are brown suede, kinda dressier. I wore with a long coat and a hat and I was super warm. In Canada you can get them at The Bay, Sears, Mark’s Work Warehouse and Zeller’s or online at 180s.com. Today there are five winners.
