It Helps to Have Good Luggage

We packed up to leave LA with our suitcases in the back seat of the convertible. The sun was shining bright, tanning my shoulders, and I could smell the sweet salt of the ocean as we left Santa Monica. It felt like I was in a movie.

Before our trip I stopped by Brill Communications and picked up a couple Rimowa suitcases. I used one just over a year ago when I went surfing in Costa Rica. It was the best suitcase I have ever had. It rolled down the village streets in Santa Cruz and Montezuma no problem at all.  Put it on YouTube to prove it.

I remember travelling when I was younger and seeing people at the airport flowing through the terminal and their luggage gliding across the ground. Meanwhile, there I was pulling a raggedy old hand-me-down suitcase. It really helps to have good luggage. My first experience with Rimowa I blogged that it was the best suitcase I had ever used, AND…I still stand by that statement!

Thanks Brill for the luggage and helping me glide through airports with ease. Now, all I need to learn is how to pack less so my contents aren’t over the weight limit! AGAIN!
