I had Peach Beserk make me this dress my my birthday. It’s stretchy and covered with Edie and Andy. I love it hard. You can make your own dress here. Looks especially great with fishnets and a long coat. Loves it.

You know those days when the sun is shining and you get in the car with a few friends and cruise to the beach or the park. You lay out a blanket followed by food and drinks and you lean back and feel the sun on your face. Your mind is free and in wanders as you feel complete bliss and serenity knowing that there is nowhere else you’d rather be than there , that very moment in time. I feel like that today, well, a connection to that feeling. This is a me at Newport Beach on Sydney’s North Shore in NSW, Australia. I went surfing for my very first time. It was about 7am and the sun was rising. It was more than beautiful. I met this man in Bondi who’s called the Bondi Groover he said “Life’s not about being naughty, it’s all about 60/40” (in Aussie, that rhymes).
View PostI’m having one of those days where work seems like the hardest thing to do. I want to write and work on things for good causes and take pictures and make art. I picked some lilacs at lunch and sat in the park. The lilacs smell so pretty, they create an aroma of spring around me. It’s lovely. I wore a dress today that spins round, this is me in the sunshine. Today is the day I think to myself, you should be a full time blogger. View PostTomorrow is going to be SUPER awesome, I’m talking like 18 degrees and 100% sunshine. For this reason, I have appropriately taken the afternoon off. Tonight is going to be a busy one. I’m heading to meet Miss Kingi Carpenter at Peach Beserk on Queen then to the Redwire launch party. Peach Beserk is having a launch party for their new Online Dress Designer. Yahooo! I’ve loved this shop forever and am yet to own anything. Kingi said to bring along something to print and I’ve carefully packed this little red number from AA. It’s washed & ready to become something new! I had a lovely lunch outside today. I wasn’t sure what to eat and I recalled a time back in Bondi when I was really struggling for money. I used to go to the deli and get a bun and piece of meat and that was lunch for just a couple bux.
View PostLast night I made a nice dinner. I really love cooking. I don’t talk about it much because I’m not a food blogger. I hate talking about what I eat. Not fun to me so I don’t do it often. However, last night…It was lovely. Today I went to the AGO again. I was alone and I took a very introspective view. I only looked at things I like the most and for only as long as I felt like. It is a very free feeling. I had my Moleskine and pencil, camera, the important stuff. I got a picture of one of my favorite guys, but I’m nervous to post it.

Peace, bliss, energy, sunlight ; it was freedom. This untitled poem is my most favorite one I’ve written, I think. There are so many! View PostI can see Lake Ontario from my window and let me tell you, it looks damn cold ,nearly frozen. I was feeling quite chilly myself and went for a dip in my pool. The water was surprisingly warm and since it is enclosed in glass, the sun was shining brightly. Perfect for a lazy Sunday! Thanks to American Apparel for the suit. It’s evening and I’m watching Thomas Crown Affair on FOX. God, I love this movie. It just started!! Woo Hoo!
View PostI went for a walk today at lunch. I was wearing my earphones even though my ipod battery was dead. Hold your thoughts. They keep your ears warm and I also have a strange pastime of eavesdropping on other peoples conversations. Yes, it is true. It’s more fun on the subway then walking, but whatever. Anyhow, what I did overhear was all kinds of people ‘cryning’ as my Dad calls it (crying/whining) about the weather. We are going to have damn cold days coming, so what, deal with it, stay inside, hibernate, read books, learn something. I love summer, I do not like being cold, however I do really, really not like complaining. It is not good energy for yourself OR anyone around you. Whether you mean for them to hear you or not.I got back to the office and thought, I need to ditch this bad attitude. I dove into my work and managed to knock off a few hours. Then the sun came out and I was smiling again. ♥
