On Saturday I went to my first Poetry Slam w/ Vanessa Grillone and her cousin. It was so awesome! I ended up being one of the judges. When I was 14 I published an anthology of poetry and prose so this was super neat.

ON Tuesday I skipped out of work to hit the tents and watch a few WMCFW shows. It’s nice to see everyone there but the fashion has actually been quite underwhelming. I want more energy on the runway, excitement, fashion should be fun and not so serious. I saw socks and sandals on the runway too which I can never seem to wrap my head around. I just won’t! View PostLast night I had dinner with the Toronto group of media/bloggers going to Disneyland, California next week. We have a full action packed six days of everything a little girl could dream of matched with big girl dreams of parties, shopping, and fine dining. We get to to visit the original Walt Disney apartment (that was only opened to the public last year), rides, haunted house, sunset cruise and more. It’s going to be so romantic. I’ll be there with my BF and besties having the most fun at the happiest place on earth. Can’t. Freaking. Wait. Yesterday I got myself a dozen roses from Loblaws ($9.99!) and when I arrived back at the office I had received a flower delivery! These beauties arrived from a friend on Twitter just to brighten my day. How did he know! Thank you 🙂 Here’s to making today a great day. I’ve got a special lunch at the Trump Hotel followed by a work walkthrough at the Rogers Centre, and a beauty launch at the Thompson Hotel post work. View PostThat long weekend was a magical thing. Was planning to head up north to the cottage but got stopped by the snow. Which, turned out for the better, got a bunch done around the house and we made it into a staycation. This is the awesome 3Dprint from the Hop Pop Factory kissing booth last week w/ Sean. We had such a great Valentines week long celebration starting last Sunday (with a little blue box gift from Tiffany’s!) and went until the following Monday. We’re both full time romatics so Valentines Day lasts all year. He gave me the most beauty rose before a dinner date. We went to Playa Cabana Cantina, Dundas West for Mexican. It was wonderful. I need a vacation. Kenny played a little prank at work on Friday. Sean and I watched the entire season on House of Cards this weekend. great show. Had a chuckle at the movie categories on Netflix, can you guess who is who? I love Claire’s style in House of Cards. Elegant, she means business. This week is gonna be a wet one.
