I quite enjoy the #ttc.

The first mother daughter were talking about ring sizes, diamonds and prices. Puke. Tie a ribbon on my finger and don’t let me go. The second mother daughter bicker lightly about mum getting groceries and her carrying them. It starts to get packed. Two twenty-something blondes board the trolly and she places a call, the same call I have often made. “Hi, I’m wondering if you found a babyblue cannon camera.” Shit. Hate that. I’ve had five silver and one pink since camera since Jan. 2004. I’m hard on things. The next two are the worst, they talk loudly about a girl who slept with someone and gossip is their game. They are about uni age I reckon.  It’s innapropriate for a crowded subway and I can see people getting uncomfortable. I want so badly to pull out my camera and catch this as it happens. I don’t. I just sit back with discust, there will always be ‘gossip girls’.

WWKCD: What would Kelly Cutrone do?

I watch more then I listen, but I dig the Gossip Girl style. Always dressed up, classy. I started K.C’s book today. Gonna read a little more before bed. I’m about twenty pages and into it. Her attitude is totally refreshing. She doesn’t put up with whiny, negative, bitchy, complainers, and she knows what she’s doing because she worked at it. I find her to be quite admirable and I’m looking forward to seeing her IRL. I love this: “Because, if you’re the kind of person who senses there’s something out there beyond whatever it is you’re expected to do- if you want to be extra-ordinary- you will not get there by hanging around a bunch of people who tell you you’re not extraordinary. … We have a saying in New York: when you’re the most happening person at the party, it’s time to leave.” – Kelly Cutrone, If You have to Cry, Go Outside       She grew up in a small town and always wanted the city. It’s inspiring to learn about people that do the kinda things you like doing. I’m glad I got her book today, I was due for a new one since that bee sting book before last Fall. I like reading. I read more books in the summer, winter is online time. I like to bike somewhere  with my book and lay under a tree,  on a park bench in the sun. Did you know Kelly Cutrone used to read tarot cards  AND married Andy Warhol’s protégé, Ronnie Cutrone at 21? She has worked with the best fashion designers and heaps of interesting creative peeps. ELLE wrote about her here and asked a bunch of questions. This is my favorite Q/A: On witchcraft: “A lot of people think I’m a Wiccan. I’m…

wake me up before you…AGO

It’s been a while. I’ve been thinking about you. Tall walls tower over me and windows  touch the sky. Old looks from familiar faces in many rooms in many places. You stare, I stare. We stare at each other and we stare at the walls. I heard you’ve got some new guys, living there, renting spaces. Putting on shows in the stairwells. Do you miss me? Do you miss me and my sneaky flash, trying to capture your beauty. Lost in the walls of my mind. New thoughts dance in my memories. I’m a member at The Art Gallerty of Ontario (AGO) and I’d like to GO-GO. Soon, really soon. Maybe tomorrow? Maybe at lunch. I stumbled across these babies and I likey their stylio. I like the pretty pictures. 1)  My name is Niki, I get to pretend I am 23 everyday. I am from the wrong side of the tracks. 2)  I”m Cindy. I’m young and I live in a town that always rains. I can be really sarcastic sometimes. 3) Carly cut it off and it’s cotton candy tasty pink. 4)  Gaga go-g0’s on Gossip Girl “The only difference between a good day and a bad day is your attitude.” — Dennis S. This Is My Life | Cyberbullying

Putting yourself out there on the internet or *IRL takes a lot of courage. Having a blog opens you up for all kinds of criticism, haterade, or anonymous comments. My world, the one I’ve created online, is pretty positive, but I’ve had my share of cyberbullying. It’s important to fight back against trolls, for example you could use an instagram story viewer app to save any abusive posts so that you can use them as evidence against them. It’s also important to learn how you can avoid being exposed to this kind of harassment and Telus has an award winning Canadian program about how to protect you and your family online. They offer online info and offline info like in-person training sessions for business customers and their fams. Thanks for this @TELUS! #TelusWise pic.twitter.com/uIpjxQArfZ — CASiE STEWART (@casiestewart) August 20, 2015 Telus is one of my longest standing relationships and this program is one of the reasons I love them. Not to mention the owl for this campaign. I like owls. I’ve had more than one stalker over the years and had to contact the police several times about something internet related. I don’t share this stuff often because it’s hard to talk about. There’s also SO MUCH sad/bad news out there I want this to be a happy place for you when you’re having a bad day or want a cheer up. The things about bullying is it can stay with you forever. It’s hard to forget the way they made you feel. A couple of years ago a ‘friend’ had been commenting mean things under an alias for months. It was really hurtful, the things she said were spiteful, stuff only someone who knew me would say to be mean. I did some investigating and finally tracked the…
