Omg Seriously. The Biz Media Epic Meal Time last night was epicly awesome. Say hello to the Bacon Volcano. Bacon strips & cheese & bacon strips & bacon strips. Chocolate bacon cake. Big thanks to the lovely miss who brought the Tums. I’m thankful for you. Was a beautiful night for a patio party. Biz Media consistently throws the best parties. Wicked crowd there last night. Heaps of people I knew & lots I didn’t. Makes for a fun time, I love meeting new people. The man who delivers me a dozen bacon roses. ILU. These were so tasty. Heaps of props for the photobooth. The photos are gonna be so funny. Bacon in the tree too. Bacon everywhere actually. I missed this one but wow, probs was delish. Epic Meal Time guys are rad. This one is so huge, like giant. I want one of those &baconstrips shirts guys. Fo realz. Thank you to the Biz Media team & Guy Gal. You know mama loves you. Heaps of friends in this crowd. I’ve never seen/ate so much bacon at one time. We really got into it too. Two girls, one bacon.

Pure beer bliss.

All the beer shelves were fully stocked, store opens today in Liberty Village. I love straight lines. Everything was lined up with perfection. Pretty. Pinup. ♥ Very nice shop that appeals to urban consumers. Young urban professionals of downtown, generation Y, Yuppies 2.0. SO good to see Carly & have her back in town. Love you babe! Carly is my agent and today I have a top secret audition for something on TV. I was taking our pic in the mirror here… Then I totally spilled my beer. Doh! Food was really good and outside they had an oyster bar. Look how big that one guys is! They looked to slimey for me. I kinda like oysters but think I’m stopping liking them. The slimeyness over does the taste & other effects for me. Wiggly little buggers. Brown Barbie likes ’em! My peeps comin’ down the red carpet. We arrived early & left fairly early. My new thing, getting real good at it. It takes practice. DJ was really good. Arriving early gives you optimal time for dance breaks before it gets crowded. We were drinking these beers & Stella. You get older every day, here’s to a new year! Exciting! Celebrate Sister! She came and helped mama clean her room. Best. Present. Ever! Oh, Tower. Love shots from this spot in the park. So fun. This special guy & roll on glitter too. It’s about to get serious. Wore a vest Mum made out for dinner last night. We went to O NOIR. This crazy awesome resto where you dine in the dark. I’m talking 100% pitch black where the servers are BLIND. It was really fun. The food was good, best part was the experience. I could not see a thing. All of a sudden your other senses became so important; touch, taste, hearing, smell. I suggest going with someone you already know/like. Start this at 1:20. these things shoot out from in my head, my ideas run like flow

True to my goal, I’ve been going through my old hard drives and digging up heaps of files containing essays, poerty, prose and more. Makes me feel really excited. I love writing and I’m doing more, well, more than just ‘blogging’ which has kinda taken over my time. I’ve been telling myself I want to publish another book for way too long now and I am derermined to do it. That’s why I’m telling YOU. You can be part of it by asking, reminding me, making me think about it. It’s going to be a second anthology of poetry, prose & short stories. All pieces I’ve wrtten from the last 10 years. There will be some photos and it will be nice looking. My goal is to do it because I don’t want life to pass by with all this written work locked in digtal form within a metal box. I want to have them bound together in my hand. It would be a shame if they never got to feel your eyes and touch your heart, they like the attention. The title of this post is this one: I don’t know, I don’t know? My ideas run like flow! Why these things come out my head? These things for long have been dead. The water ran so quickly then, And to life they come once again!

Love, love, love it. I bet it was so fun putting this together! I’m a big fan of Barbie (as you know) and I’m also a huge fan of what is what Mattel is doing with Barbie & Ken online. @barbiestyle & @officialken are active on Twitter and they both have Facebook and Foursquare here & here. I googled “Kentourage” and found out that Ken is REALLY asking Barbie to get back together. There’s an event coming up Feb. 8th at the Eaton Centre and barbieandken.com has this on it: There’s also a show on Hulu hosted by Whitney Port called Genuine Ken that I didn’t know about either. I like the idea of them togetether, Sweet Talkin’ Ken & Barbie Video Girl. I hope I find my very own Ken. Maybe he will be the is the highest bidder in the auction on Feb. 10th. i am fit and beautiful and awesome (repeat)

The other day Raymi took me to The Motion Room for a workout. I’ve not been much of a worker outer the past few years, however, last week I had a very different gym experiece. You know what? I really liked it too. Shirt is from Me to We in support of Africa, shorts are American Apparel from Bud Camp, socks from AA too. Hipster workout. haha. It was super rad to have someone show you what to do then push you to do it. I enjoyed this ladder thinger. I often make things into dance moves. The young ballerina in me will never die/grow up. Did you ever notice ballerina has the work ‘baller’ in it? Pairs, duet. Good form. I rocked the pushup plank style going down and back. I did such a good job that instead of going plank all the way he made me do pushups in between. Urgh, remind me NOT to try hard with a trainer. You will only end up hurting more. Look at my pipes. I’m huge. Squats too, check them muscles. I died a little post ladder. I dont like normal gyms cause I feel self conscious, and insecure because I don’t really know what to do. It might be different if I had a partner. I often stick to the treadmill cause it’s self explanitory. The workout here was really fun cause we used different equipment and I had a coach. I think that’s what really makes the difference for me, having someone tell you what to do. (Keep the sub/Dom jokes to yourself, haha) This is what really…

GIFTING DAY 5: you thirsty?

Earlier this year I went to New Zealand for New Zealand Fashion Week. It was an amazingly awesome trip. Words can not explain all the fun things I did, the photos and blog posts will give you an idea but you need to ask me in person to really know. Thank you to Patty Huntington, Anna Jobz, the whole NZFW team, designers, sponsors and people I met for making it so freaking awesome-never-forget-fun. Today I share with you a story and a something from my little wee wine library. My most anticipated show for NZFW was Stolen Girlfriends Club. It was the show I knew I’d like. This pic is me after the show w/ Venus who was my totally awesome Minder for the week. The fashion show ended with a cannon of confetti and roses. A cute boy caught a rose and gave it to me, there was glitter in my hair. I sat front row and centre and we were all in an old theatre. Someone pointed out that the girl on the poster for the show looked kinda like me. Pretty neat. This was the final outfit. The models all lined up then the ‘couple’ came out last. That’s when the cannon went off. I love the clothes they make, the jewellry and how they put on a show. So hot. You know who else was there that night? And who had been tweeting away becoming friends before I even arrived on the scene? Kim Crawford Wines. (Found out the other day K.C Wine is Mum’s fav from NZ!).
