HOW MANY LIVES WILL YOU LIVE?

The latest campaign from Perrier for ‘Secret Place’ is pretty rad. I showed it to my work peeps and we loved the complex digital journey. I really like mix between branded entertainment and game.  In Secret Place, you’re at the Ultimate Party and you get to live out the experience from the perspective of each of the 60 guests. Hmmm, sounds interesting… This is the part I love It took them 18 months writing scripts and scenarios to produce a film shot from each character perspective. Then, they had to build in the functionality to seamlessly switch characters with one click. Mind blowing! “Imagine having to reproduce the sound of a bottle on a bar as many times as there are people in the room who can hear it.” I can’t imagine. There’s are a bunch of different rooms to explore at the ‘Secret Place’ party, it you haven’t done it yet. I encourage you to give it a go. This scene gets pretty sexy… The prizes are parties at some of funnest places around the world including Ibiza, Art Basel in Miami, Saint Tropez, Rio for Carnival, and Sydney for NYE. On Friday I went to Ford Canada’s annual Ford Blue party. I sat in this sexy blue 2013 Mustang, wore my fav Ted Baker London blue dress, and ate a bunch of blue candies. I love Ford events and how the brand consistently caters to media with small details to make sure they have a great time. The food was excellent, the entertainment was fun, and I had a few drinks of my fav Grey Goose. Last year I travelled to Detroit twice with Ford and I really got to know the brand personally and learn that they reall know how to do social well. Ford is one of the top social brands in the world. Definitely a brand other brands should be following. Thanks Ford for hosting us for a great night. They even had a shuttles running to take everyone back downtown from Sound Academy. Fuji Film Canada sent me this sexy little leather XF1 in a purse from Danier Leather. That’s how you do it, forget the box, send it in leather!  It’s a sleek & stylish point n’ shoot that I can take anywhere. It’s the latest in the X Series and combines fashion and function. Perfect for me! I’m not really sure how to use it yet but I will learn. There are a lot of features and you can actually shoot digitally with different types of Fuji Film. I’m not sure if you are aware but I have been watching the Young and the Restless since I was born. I PRV it every single day and watch it religiously. About this time last year I got the opportunity to interview the ONE AND ONLY Victor Newman but was flying out to Costa Rica on a surf trip. I was heartbroken, but sent Barbie to conduct the interivew and it went off with flying colours. Her and Kevin even got a message from Victor for me. He said he missed me. This year at the National Women’s show, Peter Bergman, aka Jack Abbot was in town and I was given the opportunity to interview him. Unfortunately, I was flying to Calagary for a fashion trip and could not do the interview. AGAIN! GAHHHHHH! What are you doing Thursday night? Not on the VIP list and/or over whelmed by Facebook invites to all kinds of things you aren’t sure will be cool or not? Don’t worry. You are not alone. There is a zillion bajillion things happening on Thursday, September 6th. My friends at The Drake Hotel & RockIt Promo have an awesome party that brings together glam girls and the bad boys of cinema. Party starts at @9PM and is sponsored by Stella Artois + Sailor Jerry. Performances over the night include The Darcys, Still Life Still , and Dinosaur Bones. The Sailor Jerry mobile tattoo shop (so cool) will be out front doing free tattoos and hurrrrrcuts. My goal is to make it there, avoid the line, and a little more ink. My half sleeve arms is all traditional theme so this is PERFECT. The Drake will for sure have a line but it will be worth waiting based on my (parting) experience. There will be a slew of ‘Drake Overdrive’ Cocktails with some named after  Steve McQueen, James Dean, and Dennis Hopper. I named my Macbook James Dean. So Sexy. Once I took a great photo of Brock Mclaughlin where he looked JUST like Jakes Dean. Here we go… that was a fun night. The Weekend: Girls Night, Dinner, Justice, Osheaga

We had girls night on Thursday, us five Spice Girls took to King West. Look out. Michelle, Lauren, Me, Sarah Irie, Hollywood Friday we had 1188 dinner at Parts & Labour for Sean’s birthday. It was nice. They make a mean beavertail. I had a burger but it was mixed up with Matt’s and came rare with cheese. I order ‘no cheese’ everything. Last night I went to my first concert at Fort York, M83 & Justice. M83 was great. I felt like Justice was a light show that went along with a pre-recorded mix. It was fun though. There were LED light sticks flying all over the place. Looked awesome with the bright lights and CN Tower glowing in the background. This week SummerWorks starts and I’m stoked to see some theatre. Spring is my fav time of year, there’s nothing like flowers, fresh cut grass, and  fashion. I love digging out the box of summer dresses, rompers, and shorts that hide under my bed most the year. I’ve partnered with Sherway Gardens to share my favourite spring trends and help style up a lucky person like you. Here’s three of my favourite trends this season. Contest entry details below! SPRING STYLE: Sheer – I’ve been picking up sheer items since my last trip to New Zealand for fashion week. Long skirts, drapey blouses, sleeveless shirts and anything that flows nicely in the wind. I love the way something sheer has a certain innocence while being slightly sexy. Look for lots of bright colours & prints and have at least one skirt in rotation. You’ll find a great selection of sheer tops & bottoms at American Apparel. They have the maxi skirt in a selection of shades. Short Shorts – I’m a big fan of short shorts because they’re fun to wear and make your legs look long when you throw on some heels.  My tip is to make sure you don’t buy them too small, try the next size up when you’re shopping. You want to be cool & comfortable not stuffed in! I got a great pair of denim cutoffs from Victoria Secret. When you’re at Sherway Gadens try VS and American Eagle. AE has a ton of styles including drawstring and white denim. White Lace/Chrochet – Did you notice this trend at Coachella or SXSW?  I’ve got my eye out for a cutesie white crochet number. I’ve seen this on Pinterest in  collars, bathers, blazers, tank tops and platforms. Chill out, it’s the 70’s! You’ll find this look at Guess or Costa Blanca.
