Met a friend early for coffee, planning awesomism for 2011. Can you believe 2012 is just over a year away? Go live up your life man, might be over soon. Got my hair done, back to blonde roots and trim. I love hair done day, Darren Kwik is my stylist. He is really good and he gives great style. He told me the other day that a girl came in and asked for “the Casie Stewart”. Love it. Let’s start an army, bloundetourage style. Posting this via WordPress Mobile on Motorola Backflip from Telus. This phone is pretty rad, good photos, love the apps, have all my accounts hooked up so I stay connected. Big thanks to Telus and Motorola, I’ve been on the network since March and as a Telus first timer, I’m happy. I’ve been typing this walking up Queen Street West and hardly looking up. Just about got clothes lined by a window washer lady with a bucket. Suck it, I vacuumed earlier with the new unit. It’s nice. There are lots of babes in this city, eh? NXNE PANEL #nxnei

I attended one of the first sessions for NXNE Interactive this morning. Couple people I know were on the panel and I like to surpport them as well as the session itself was interesting: Social Media Circle Jerking 101. I’m surprised that I didn’t take considering all the girls I saw there: Carly, Abby, Lucia, Lisa & Jas. That’s a social media circle jerk right there. haha. Couldn’t help but think of Raymi, she always calls the SM events circle jerks. It’s true really, a bunch of ‘meme’ people in a room talking about themselves. today you will get things done & you will feel great

Do you do this too? Tell yourself that today you will check things off your list, you will feel accomplished, you will return email and phone calls one by one until you’re caught up. I talk to myself and I try to be a good coach, but I never really played sports. I always stayed up late working on projects, the way I do now. I strive to do my best job, which means working harder and longer . I’m not complaining, I’m just saying it’s hard sometimes. I get stressed out sometimes too. I went to sleep last night with warm thoughts of a new day ‘today, today I will achieve and I will force myself to cross a few certain things off that list’. Unfortunately, my phone froze in the night, I woke up late, took a taxi to the office, and was late for a meeting. I’ve got a choice to feel stressed today or to feel happy… I choose happy. I’m getting my hair done tonight by Darren Kwik 🙂

Beautiful day. Cutest puppy ever – chihuahua/pug. Totally pet that little guy. If you’re in a hurry don’t go near Fresh & Wild at Spadina. Nice and tasty but slow compared to a factory like Starbucks. Wearing the gladiators today. Feeling glad. Its May the Forth and it’s a wonderful day. Lots of birthday wishes coming my way. Heading to a HotDoc tonight, hopefully Objectified. I am a really lucky girl. I am truly blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life. Birthday week is all about connecting with my friends and thanking them for being themselves. Its important to let them know. Tomorrow night is hair done with Darren Kwik and out with friends from overseas. Thursday is Opera. Friday casiestewart.com goes to live on WordPress and its my bday. Reminder: Pick up Edie dress from Peach Beserk! I’d like a new computer. I really hate when people wear those huge earphones. Are you DJing right now? gettin’ ma hair did

Tonight I am heading over to the Darren Kwik Studio, Queen West to get my hair done. It has been ages and I’m quite excited about it. Darren has been doing hair for ages and I’m looking forward to seeing him again. It’s been years! I’ve read a bunch of reviews of his salon and it has an excellent reputation. Darren was a hairstylist for the 2008 Much Music Video Awards and also took part in Redken’s Annual ONE X ONE Cut-A-Thon which raised awareness and funds in support of child poverty in Canada and around the world. Stay tuned for how beautiful my hair looks tomorrow!!

PLS ASK FOR HELP. Yesterday I posted the suicide hotline after hearing about Kate Spade. I felt sad. Her death was a reminder that no matter how much money, fancy clothes, cars, businesses, health, family, no matter how much you have, you can still have dark thoughts. None of us are immune to feeling like we’re backed into a corner. We all go through love, loss, money, no money, jobs, no jobs, depression, anxiety. Life is hard. No matter how much it seems like someone has a perfect life, THEY DON’T. They might have an even more fucked up life than you think you do, trust me! We all go through it. We all have days, weeks, months, years when we wonder why we are still doing it, or not making it, or are we just faking it? Life is hard. We’re constantly bombarded with challenges, tests, to see if we can make it to the next level. We all have the strength to deal, to fight, to call on each other, to make it through. You are never alone. There are lots of people around you even though you might not feel like it sometimes. It’s easy to isolate yourself, to put on a smile and act like everything is a-ok when you feel like dying inside. Reach out to someone around you. Exciting week just passed and I am SO ready for a getaway! Tomorrow I’m scooting up north to the countryside with Barbie to a friends cottage. Give me nature, lake, silence and sunshine. YES PLEASE. Ate pretty healthy this week and went running a few times. Feels good to hit the pavement. Got a haircut at Darren’s Studio and had my first spring picnic in the park. Mine is losing my memory. I blog to remember. Guess who I saw yesterday? Oh yeah, JB. Got my hair done at Darren’s Studio last night, kinda different blonde, not used to it yet. What I really want is this hot hair. Creeped it from Zambesi SS 2012. It’s like this now. Looking forward to the weekend and biking and spending time with James Dean. A bunch of friends and I are going to a Jays game on Sunday. Will be my first game of the season and it’s Roberto Alamar Day. I’m bringing The Australian, he’ll love it. If it is wrong to take a whole slew of photos of your new computer, I don’ wanna be right. I’m in love, what can I say. always on her phone this one i’m planning to do something special for you with darren’s salon because i am nice and i want you to feel happy. we’re sorting out all the deets but you will know about it when we’re done. i’ll give you a clue, it involves you getting your hair did and someone not paying for it. yay! remember i was telling you about darren being in toronto life’s shopping issue recently? well, guess what? he’s in there again in the bridal issue. great skills. if you are waiting for colour to change it is a bad idea to go outside. you have to keep your head warm, like this kinda. this is my fav part, the shave. stitching came undone on on of my boots. think i can return them? i got them at the docs store last summer. i tweeted about the warranty and someone asked if i got them on the 1990’s. mum, lost you on skype so here is my trip to SF ♥ xo

After I checked into my hotel, Doubletree where they have fantastic and fresh cookies ready for you. If you ask at the counter they will give you more. I was starving at the time to I had three then felt bloated and gross. My room was freezing so I decided to do what I usually do when I first get to my hotel room adn jump on the bed. You must be careful not to hit head on ceiling as you may die. I am a professional as you can see here. (My love for animated gifs has resurfaced as you may have noticed) Worked up quite a sweat there and decided to get cleaned up and venture downtown. I love being all alone in a new city. Exploring is fun. I would make an ok explorer, I like to snoop around but I like even more when I have a handsome guided escort who knows cool places where locals hang. I rode the BART (SF version of TTC) and got off here in the heart of the action. I didn’t do much shopping. To be honest, I’m not much of a shopper. I like clothes and stuff but have so many that it’s retarted for me to go buy a heap of things. I like to pick up something special for myself though. My SF souvineer, this badass baby. Don’ mess wit mama cause if I punch you, you will know who hit ‘ya. My tattoo needs to get redone. Blue/orange, so faded. I did not know they had Westfield Malls in the US. it ain’t that easy baby

Building a new blog. SO many tweaks and stuff and things I don’t know how to do that I need to ask. I have my friend Patrick helping me but it just ain’t that easy as uploading a new theme and hitting publish. Ah, I wish. Nice working on a holiday, the amount of emails is slower than normal and I feel like I got lots done. The airshow jets have been flying by all afternoon. I used to be quite excited by them but I just don’t feel the same anymore. I care more about getting shit done than rushing to the window to get a photo. Got a post card today from Rochelle while she was in Laguna Beach. It is vintage and handwritten. I love that she though of me, especially that she hand picked a vintage number. THANK YOU. I love getting mail. Wanna send me something? I’ll give you my mailing address if you ask. I wish I had someone to build this wordpress for me. Have a full calendar of events & meetings this week. Snagged a young stud to be arm candy for a couple things too. Tomorrow I’ve got a hair appointment with Darrek Kwik follwed by a dress fitting at Paris Li for New Zealand Fashion Week outfits. Opening of Toronto International Film Fest is Wednesday and I’ll be attending a couple things that day. This week is gonna fly by. I got an invite to the Tastemakers Lounge on Friday afternoon and confirmed I’ll be getting some swag. YEAH!
