This morning I shared a story about my childhood with my friends at Nella Bella. I popped in to say hello as I’d not seen them in a few and I love them. They made me retire my old most fav ever NB bag (tear) & hooked me up with a beauty new one. Thanks team <3 We were chatting about confidence and how important it is to have, especially for kids. We talked about dressing up our younger siblings and also how parents give their kids so much choice these days. What’s up with that anyways? [pause…here come the Mommy Bloggers. haha] When I was little Mum have me choice but not too much. She used to let me pick out my clothes and would lay two outfits on the bed for me to pick one to wear. Well, that wasn’t good enough for me. I’ve always been a creative so when Mum would lay out my outfits I’d mix them up together and make something new. One time I wore this orange shirt with green shorts and one orange/one green sock. Mum let me wear what I liked. One of the other Mum’s on our street said to her “Are you really gonna let her wear that?” All Mum said “If she feels confident wearing that then she can go for it!” Thank you Mum for being that way with me. She inspired a uniqueness that will never go away. Hope you have an awesome day. Do something nice for someone. It will inspire you 🙂   o 

I just came back from a meeting and stopped by Nella Bella to check out all the stock for tomorrow’s one day sample sale. If you need have a bag obsession, need a new bag or just wanna treat yourself go stop by. These are some of my fabv Nella Bella babies: Little guy fits everything, camera, phone and wallet stuff! Tarek nicknamed it the ‘Casie bag’. The bag this girl has in the photo is one of my most fav treasured things I’ve got. It has travelled all over the world with me and it’s in good shape. I’m in a charity auction for the Heart & Stroke Foundation. There are 20 people in the whole auction.  I have no idea who the other girls are but, I do know you will be able to bid on bloggers  Zach Bussey & Dan Levy and young darling Brock McLaughlin. Maybe I will find a date myself? Remember when Scar Jo sold a date on e-bay for charity? That was kinda hot, wonder how much she went for? Oh y’know, about $40,000 USD! Let’s hope I break $100. The event is hosted by Ally & Dani from the Girls of TO blog and all proceeds to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. See the press release here. I was on a skipping team for the H&S when I was in Primary school so when they asked, I totally said yes. I’m nervous but mostly about what I am going to wear. Ah! Made a wee list of a couple things I really enjoy having. I would never have this stuff without recomendations and introductions from a bunch of you.  I appreciate it. Here we go: Yoga Jeans from Shop Girls Gallery Boutique I was invited t the shop and given jeans and they are super comfy for someone who hates pants. I haven’t worn jeans in years and now I love these ones. I wear them when I travel and they are so comfy on the plane. They never lose their shape. I have dark denim and this one time I spilled a beer on me when flying and you could hardly even tell. It dried in no time and I got another beer. Bam Jamz Bamboo clothes Was given this at the TIFF gift lounge and I’ve been living in it since. The tank top has a panda on it’s really comfy. I like looking stylish but I also like no fuss, feel good clothes. Mine is pajams/yoga wear but I wear it as day clothes. Also great for traveling. You get it at at these stores. Marks Work Warehouse super long soft cardigan Before New Zelanad Fashion week I was invited to Mark’s. One of the things I got was this super long soft cardigan that I have been wearing like crazy. It’s really nice for around the house. Soft like a more stylish snuggie for traveling. Warm too. I woud buy one for all my girlfriends if I could afford it. For those of you not in TO, this is the situation. Have warm rubber/marino wool Moovboots and Isotoner touchscreen gloves so I can tweet w/ happy feet while walking. Ruskie hat Sabrina got me from Belarus to warm my head. Nella Bella black leather bag to hold my gear. I don’t mind the winter at all, bring on the snoooooooooow! These guys look cold but at least the have each other. Red guys is mine, rusty is Raymi’s. I will tune you up before we start summer spinnin’. Time to get ready for hohoTO. Party time!
