I had a great day yesterday. I haven’t taken the subway for a while. It’s different taking the subway during work hours. I always wonder what everyone is doing. I don’t mind the streetcar, I don’t like the underground. I used to write TTC Tales (last one 2012) when I took the TTC to work. At one time, I travelled about an hour each way to work. I made a few videos about TTC loudtalkers after that. I wouldn’t make those videos now, social media wasn’t as popular back then. Heading easton the Bloor Line; try not to make eye contact. Look out the window, look out window. There’s a young guy with his sunglasses on playing golf on an iPad. I can’t see if he has a bag…is just carrying the thing? I smell hot food. It’s not McDonalds. Doors open. Please don’t let someone gross sit beside me… Went to the Trinity Bellwoods Farmers Market yesterday to pick up some green goodness. The market is on each Tuesday in the summer from 3-7pm. I was so hungry that I started chomping on lettuce leaves as I walked down Dundas. It was delicious. Two years ago today I jumped out of a perfectly good plane for my first every skydive. It was SO MUCH FUN! I was in Boston visiting friends for the weekend and decided this was a great idea. I would 100000% do it again. I’m off to Boston this weekend to visit those same peeps and this is a great throwback reminder of an awesome weekend. I had a 55 second free-fall before landing. Exhilarating! (Jump is at 2:12) In 1996 I wrote a book called ‘Jeans’ and today I remember a line from it ‘You’ve never to old to play in leaves or snow’.  Remember that! I’ve had a love for fashion my entire life. Unfortunately, I’ve never had a closet quite big enough to fit everything! Borderline clothes hoarder.  Twice a year I rummage through my stuff and pack things up to donate to a clothing drive or second hand shop. Last summer I put a bunch of old hot rod shirts and special items in storage, then handed over a few bags of clothes to find a new home. My closet has a bed in it and a tv. Today I’m taking you back in time and showing you some memories from June 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011. The main reason I started THIS IS MY LIFE was to keep memories. Writing things down has improved my ability to retain information over the last 10 years. June 2008 – SATC Movie came out and I went to a pink carpet party. Gave away an Energi to Go charger for iPod on the blog. It was one of the first things I gave away to readers like you. It was also one of my first pieces of branded YouTube content. Here’s the video. This hair, omg so long and dark! June 2009 – Pink hair for Pride. Blogged about Dermalogica for the first time. I use their products now and love them still. This old shirt of Dads. Bare arms with hardly any tattoos. June 2010 – Gladstone Hotel event, that feather tattoo has been covered by more tattoos. It was a nice one though. Sheldon, Hawley, Tristan Went home to see Mum, she gave me flowers from the garden. It was also summer of G20, I retreated to the island to escape the madness. I also protested in the G20. Well kinda, mine was more like a sexy protest. I wore lace leggins and combat boots and took photos of cute boys. 2011 – Katy Perry concert and I wore a sequin bodysuit with ruffles on the bum.
