Love is in the air! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and I had the incredible opportunity to model for The Manor Loft’s Valentine’s Day Pop-Up, shot by the fabulous Jen Toole. The session was filled with laughter, fabulous outfits, and of course, all the love. With the dreamy red backdrop, roses, and heart balloons, this Valentine’s Day photoshoot made me feel radiant and confident. Posing for these pictures reminded me that Valentine’s Day isn’t just about relationships – it’s also about self-love. It was an absolute vibe with a bright red backdrop, roses, and heart-shaped balloons. The Manor Loft on Geary is such a great space and Jen has a real talent for making you feel confident and radiant. You know I love bold, bright colours and this was the perfect way to lean into the joy and fun of Valentine’s Day. This time of year isn’t just about romance, it’s about celebrating love in all forms, including the relationship you have with yourself. I walked away from this shoot with a fresh sense of confidence and gratitude for this season of love. I even got to have an American Beauty moment! This Valentine’s Day, remember to celebrate you, because self-love is the foundation for everything else. 💖

Day 336: Happy Valentines Day!

I’m at home today and Sean is at the cottage with Emily. He sent me the most special surprise… We had a lovely Valentine’s dinner on Thursday night and shared gifts then watched some Netflix. He got me a rose bush plant instead of flowers and as a plant mama, it was the perfect present! I don’t share too much about Sean here but he is so wonderful! We first met over in 2009 and I couldn’t imagine my life without him. He makes me laugh every single day and supports me in everything I do. I’m so grateful for him in my life. SEAN, ILYSM!

Sharing the Love on Valentines Day w/ NKPR

Hope you’re having a great day! Remember, the most important person to love on Valentines is yourself! The more love you have the more you have to give. Today I joined Cory Lee, Ish and a bunch of volunteers at NKPR for #NKPR26 where they are doing 26 Hours of Giving. We helped to pack sandwiches for #HashtagLunchbag, a global movement empowering everyday people in local communities to spread love, one lunch bag at a time. We packed over 700 lunches!   To learn more about Hashtag Lunchbag and find an event near you, visit hashtaglunchbag.org. Tonight Sean and I are having dinner with Emily. We celebrate each other & our love all year but later this month we’re heading up to a hotel in Muskoka and going snowmobiling. It will be my first time and Sean hasn’t gone out on one in years. Valentines Day Skating + Love ❤️ The #CityPlaceRink is OPEN!

We started our Valentines Day a little early this year! On Friday night Sean and I went to the CityPlace rink for winter festivities at Canoe Landing Park. Snow falling in the winter can be so magical and romantic. I love the crisp winter air! CityPlace is a little nostalgic and romantic for us since it’s where Sean and I met.  ❤️ We lived in different condo towers on Brunel Court and Fort York Blvd. when we first started seeing each other 6 years ago.  Crazy how time flies! The area has changed so much since we lived there. We were in the first buildings built close to Spadina and there are so many more buildings now with almost 20,000 residents. This CityPlace Social was a chance for the developer (Concord Adex) to bring the community  together. Everyone who came to the social was hooked up with free hot chocolate, roses, and photo ops while skating under the moonlight.  There was a great performance by Canadian National Team figure skater Michelle Long too. The CityPlace Residents Association website details news and events in the area. They’ve got a ‘Learn to Skate’ event on Saturday February 20th, more info on that here. They’ve also got summer events like movies in the park and a farmers market. The CityPlace Fort York BIA launched recently to help grow the community as more businesses make it their home, see what they’ve got going on via Facebook. After the rink (and lots of photos) we had a lovely diner at Hunters Landing. Great place, good food, and we had a great server named Matt. They’ve got a special Skate & Date menu for Valentines but we just got a couple apps & pizza. Valentines Day | Do You Have Kissability?

It’s Valentine’s Day and I know it’s cheezy, but I love it all! ? Hearts on everything, love in the air, planning secret things for someone you love. I sent Sean a V-Day gift on Tuesday because I couldn’t wait till the weekend. Show love all year, right? According to the latest Emervel Kissability Report, Canadians are a pretty kissable bunch. Raise your hand if you’ve kissed a Canadian? I know I have! ??? 80% of Canadians rated their last kissing partner as “very or somewhat kissable,” and respondents said they lock lips with their partner about three times a day on average. I can tell you, I kiss his beard as much as I can, I just can’t help myself! Scroll for some interesting stats about kissing and making those lips more kissable.

You might have seen this photo on Instagram or Facebook but today I got some cool news. Sean I are on the cover of a small newspaper outside Calgary, Alberta. St. Burger on Valentines Day be sure to show them and kiss for some free fries! Sean and I had burgers and fries after our shoot and they’re really good.
