An Enchanted Party

  This month was EmBot’s 6th birthday, and like any little girl she wanted a Hello Kitty party. I’m not very experienced in this type of thing (AT ALL) so when a friend told me his  friend  had a party supplies company, I was all ears! The lovely ladies at Enchanted Party put together a package of Hello Kitty party favours including plates, napkins, super kawaii hats, loot bags, and cutlery for me to contribute. It was my chance to shine! I dressed EmBot in a Hello Kitty dress (H&M) and all the kids all looked so cute in their party hats! EnchantedParty.com was started by mother and daughter team Sheryl and Tamara Murie. They wanted to make it easy for you to have the best parties for your kids and of course, wow your guests. Both ladies are Aussies living in Canada and experienced party planners with heaps of events under their belts. (Australians really know how to throw down so I have no doubt they can party!) HELLO KITTY PARTY .12 brightly colored scalloped edges plates 9” add a cute touch to your party table .1 set of napkins 6”- let Hello Kitty help keep things clean .12 cups -for an adorable Hello Kitty table .8 lovely Hello Kitty loot bags … fill them with treats . 24 pc matching cutlery set .1 table covering in matching pink – Measures 54″ x 108″ . 6 pretty Hello Party hats for the little guests .24 balloons .1 set of candles One thing I learned in this whole process is how hard it is to actually get the kids to sit still for photos! I’ve mentioned 3F a couple times over the last month. The brand is new in Canada and I’m on the Board of Directors. Fancy, huh? I felt like ‘Young & The Restless’ joining the board!  The 3F flagship store is at Dundas Square & the company was launched to compliment and integrate the family business KTC (Kazareen Textile Company). KTC is a leading supplier of apparel and textiles for some huge brands in North-America and Europe. Notable clients are Marks Work Wearhouse (see my posts on Mark’s here!), A&F, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy, and Calvin Klein. They have some agressive growth targets to open 33 stores in the next three years so you can see why I wanted to be part of the action! The other day they had pop princess Aleesia in the store for a meet & greet with fans. 103.5 was on site broadcasting live too. Next weekend at Metro Toronto Convention Centre all the girls from America’s Next Top Model will be in town and 3F is one of the Social Media Lounge sponsors. I’ll be backstage hanging out and probably feeling like a midget around all the models. Have some ideas? Your bff/sister/friend/mum is a fashion designer? LMK. I need to look fabulous! I can’t believe it’s almost MAY. OH MY GAGA.

Alex and Sabrina went to a Prom Party last night. Love PROM.  There was no real prom, it was just the party. So fun! She came to me in the morning looking for something jazzy to wear. As her stylist, I knew this would be no PROM-lem. Alex was wearing her original prom dress so I knew Sabrina needed to look like a beaut. Styled her up and took her photo. I used to watch The O.C., seems like ages ago when THAT was on. I loved that show. Marissa. Cooper. I got into Laguna Beach next it wasn’t as good but it was. It was realer but then also turned out to be fake-real. I know a bit of the gossip from the internet but I’ve not been watching those kids that much. I did tonight though…I watched The Hills. Knowing what’s happening on the show will only help my job. Here we go… Brody’s Mom, plastic surgery much? I like Jayde, she’s nice, hot and Canadian. Kristin not so much. She did get skinnier from when I used to watch though. When Audrina talks all I hear is ‘wah wah’. She’s kinda like a Jennifer Aniston in the getting-publicly-dumped, ‘i’m annoying’ way. Look me with longish hair! Throwback 2006 to the Moxie Princess Party. There was tons of us, all in crinoline’s, glitter and  crowns. Heidi and Spencer are definitely unique, the thought of them having kids gives the tabloids panty soup I’m sure.  His appointment at the vasectomy doctor painful but Heidi saying “Hi honey, I snipped by balls off” was almost worth watching the show alone. It’s more drama in 30 minutes than an hour of the Young and the Restless, that’s for sure. It was nominated a Peoples Choice Award, ‘Favorite TV Obsession. I’ll be watching it from now on. Don’t worry. I’ll keep the updates to a minumum 🙂
