Was hotter than I thought riding in today. It said 16 but after biking in pants and long sleeves it felt like 36. My hair is always wet when I leave and dry when I get there. It’s a pleasure having low maintenance hair that dries a perfect mess every time.  Wore my retainer, forgot a bra.

Last week I did an interview with a reporter from CanWest about a customer experience I had with a big brand and Twitter. I first told the story on my blog earlier this year when it happened. You can read the article in the Ottawa Citizen.

She quoted me saying “It shows the power of one voice,” says Stewart, a Toronto woman who describes Twitter as having “instant-messaging with the whole world.”

My first ride on a crotch rocket. That was a fun night, old roomate took me out for a spin.  I went and put on stilettos and a mini skirt with my long extensions before hitting the road. All class I know.

Cheryl, Juuso and I went to the Gay Mardi Gras in Sydney. It was raining and there was a very large population of Asian people. Just an observation. We sang and danced the night away, this one is Cher.  How appropriate.

After watching a bunch for the first time I realize I’m super retarded when wasted and at the time I always think it’s a good idea. There’s a few more on vimeo and heaps more to upload.

• I still have all my Barbies and their vintage outfits. I hope to get them made in my size one day.
• I grew up around vintage cars and vintage clothes. My Dad builds hot rods and mum was a photog for Canadian Street Rod Magazine.
  
• My favorite gift I ever received was a hardcover Thesaurus from my parents in 1996.
  
• My Dad was a professional gymnastics/trampoline coach when I was a kid. I’m flexible and can still do the splits.
  
• I have lots of different talents and believe I can achieve anything. My career goal is to be the Awesomest I can be.

Today I picked up the new Vice mag and with more excitement than usual due to the fact that is was the Fashion Issue. As I browsed through the pages, as I always do first I noticed a fw things:

• New paper – 10% post consumer waste, environmentally friendly, printed in Canada
• Some raised image on the cover that despite my efforts, I could not distinguish (and neither could my mates!)

Vice Magazine, which was ironically abandoned by its target audience of dirty trendsetters at the exact moment it became popular, has finally discovered how to sell out IN SECRET. The new issue has an ad for BMW superimposed on the freaking cover itself—but it doesn’t appear until you turn out the lights! As long as you don’t read it in the dark, nobody will know you are bought and owned by corporations just like everything else in this rotten country, dude.
